I Wonder....no Disney?

I wonder what this life time of everyones would be like if there was no disney. No disney movies, no disney parks, nothing. I know for one thing, our lives would be VERY boring, LOL!!

That's a really sad thought! Our family life has been so enhanced and enjoyable in so many Disney areas. We come home from work and school being excited and talking and dreaming about past and upcoming vacations. We had the best vacation ever last year. I just can't imagine life without Disney. I'm so glad it all started with a mouse!

But seriously, life would be a lot sadder and a lot less fun. I can't imagine having Lion King, no Pirates! But thankfully we were lucky enough to be blessed with a man named Walt Disney

I don't know if there would even be a Shrek without Disney. That set of movies played off Disney plots so much. And I doubt it could have played off the WB characters like it did Disney.

We always wonder if Disney would be what it is today if Mickey had been officially named Mortimer like Walt wanted to do at the beginning. Thank goodness his wife talked him out of that name. I just don't see it being the same saying Mortimer Mouse!

To answer the original question. I guess I would assume we'd still be going to the beaches like we did before we discovered WDW. Beaches are great and we can have a lot of fun visiting them, but it's not the same. But you don't know what you're missing if you don't have it so we wouldn't know any different

Well, I would have been unemployed for 5 years, I can tell you that!

Plus, animated feature lengths may never had come alone, the multiplane camera may have never been invented...COLOR AND SOUND IN FILM MAY HAVE NEVER EXISTED!!

Yeah, without Walt this world would really be a completely different place.

I know how you all feel. I literally grew up on Disney. Thats all I ever watched when I was growing up..Disney channel. Heck, I still watch the disney channel and the cartoons and the movies, and still love them just as much as I did when I was growing up. I think I love them even more now, LOL. I am constantly talking about disney trips I'm surprised I havent driven my hubby crazy, LOL! Disney world is my favorite place on earth. I dont even wanna begin to imagine what it would be like without Disney. You definatly know you have done something right when you see a child going to disney world for the 1st time and meeting Mickey and they get the biggest smile on their faces. I cant wait to have kids and take them to Disney. Disney will be around for the rest of our lives and probably hundreds of years to come. I have met Roy Disney at a share holders meeting in PA a couple years back and it was a huge honor. I felt like I was meeting Walt himself.
