Congratulations on being one of the first Pirates Fans to get an exclusive look at the brand-new trailer for Walt Disney Pictures “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” in 3D. You and a guest are invited to the “Pirates Fans First!” event at the Disneyland® Resort where we have an exciting morning waiting for you. And, in the spirit of adventure – you’re invited to attend in your best Pirate costume and be part of our costume contest. Who knows – you may just win a “treasure”.


Please carefully read the event details, parking instructions and costume guidelines below:



EVENT DETAILS:

DATE: Monday, December 13, 2010

CHECK IN TIME: 5:30 am – 6:15 am

EVENT TIME: 6:15 am – 10:00 am

· Exclusive Screening of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” movie trailer in 3D

· Pirates Fans First! guests will be the first to ride Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in Disneyland® Park

· Exclusive “Pirate After Party” including breakfast

Seriously, I've never heard of anyone who wins as much Disneyland-related stuff (contests) as you! You may not think you win a lot, but you win a lot (and that includes the KOST Disneyland Christmas party in 2009)!

You clearly have a Disney guardian angel looking out for you! You are very, very, very lucky!

i think this time i out did myself i entered every contest to hope of winning one only needed a pair of tickets well i won 5 now i have 10 tickets 5 pairs...

there were several websites giving away a pair or two of tickets. Twitter and face book were doing it too. Some you just had to fill out an entery form. Other you had to be the one that tweeted the most. Other you had to tell a drunken tale. and others you had to leave a pirate coment. I won 5 or the contest so i got 10 tickets in total.

So jealous! One of my CM friends was supposed to sign us up, but he didn't do it in time, so all the CM spots were taken. He also neglected to tell me this until about 2 days later, when I was already having my pirate costume sent up from home. I was so pissed, mostly because he didn't tell me that I wouldn't have to spend the money to get my costume up here quickly. Ah well, cie la vie.

Have fun! I'm sure it's going to be a blast! Take lots of pictures of all the costumes.

park at downtown disney... they will hand out vouchers at check in. Thats what the flyer said i received.

LOCATION: The Disneyland® Resort - AMC Theatre 12 in the Downtown Disney® District

and Disneyland® Park

PARKING: Complimentary parking will be provided in the Downtown Disney District parking lot. A parking voucher will be provided at event check in.




COSTUME GUIDELINES: (all Disneyland Resort costume guidelines must be followed)

Costumes should be child-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive or violent.

Guests may wear masks. However, masks must not obstruct vision and eyes must be visible at all times.

Costumes should not drag on the ground.

Costumes should not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.

Costumes should not contain any weapons which resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.

Any Guest dressed like Jack Sparrow or any other Pirates of the Caribbean movie character may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.

Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into the event unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards.




DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

FROM I-5 SOUTH: Take Disneyland Drive/Ball Road exit and continue south on Disneyland Drive. Stay to the right and follow signs to Hotels and Convention Center. Turn right on Magic Way and follow the signs to Downtown Disney® District parking.




FROM I-5 NORTH: Exit Katella Avenue/Disney Way. Turn left on Katella. Continue west on Katella. Turn right on Disneyland Drive. Continue on Disneyland Drive. Turn left on Magic Way and follow the signs to Downtown Disney® District parking.

Pirates Fans First! Event guests are invited to enjoy Disneyland® Park, Disney California Adventure® Park and the Downtown Disney® District for the remainder of the day.

i gave my extra tickets to people on the boards and twitter... share the treasure that's what christmas is all about. I had people contact me willing to pay but i said NO i rather pay it foward and spread holiday cheer!!!!
