I Won again!

Wow! Was just walking back to my desk, where I have my radio tuned to WMBW, another local Christian radio station, and I hear my name called out and that I have 60 minutes to call in and claim my prize. I had entered on line to win a trip to Isreal. Well the local winners (they are drawing 2 a day I think) get a book and some things. Then your name goes into an another drawing for another prize and those winners go into the national pot (all Moody radio stations) for a grand prize drawing for a trip for two to Isreal. This is our dream vacation! Here's hoping! The last couple of contests that they have done like this - the winner from our area has been the grand prize winner. I'll hope it holds true this time!

That is what I was just thinking. The Powerball is up to 240 million I noticed on the drive in to work this morning. Was just thinking......"to bad I'm not a gambler."

I have to say that I sure would if I'd already won two contests in one day!

The only thing I ever win is the cake walk at school carnivals. My mom always put me in as her ringer and I'd come home with 4 or 5 cakes. Apparently, my cake walk luck is still with me--last time I did one at dd's school, I won twice! Now if I could just have that kind of luck with the lottery...but cake is good.

They're running that contest with the trip to Israel here in NE Oh, too. This morning they called out the winner's name. No one had called in, with 15 minutes to go. I frantically started looking on-line for the white pages in the city where the entrant lived. I called a phone number and got an answering machine. I left a message to hurry up and call if they had entered the contest. The entrant called the radio station the very last minute that was left! I understand several people called to tell her to call in!
