And I'm still in shock!
I went to the Creating Keepsakes Scrap and Play in Valley Forge over the weekend. We had a great time, and the supplies they gave us were worth much more than the $100 admission fee.
Provo Craft sponsored Cricuit workstations, and at the end of the weekend, they gave away the 8 machines as grand prizes. They were also giving away Gypsyes. It was very, very generous of them.
I don't own a Cricut and wasn't expecting to win because I never win! But I won a Gypsy! I told them to take it back because I don't have a Cricut (my friends thought I was crazy!) I could have sold it on Ebay, but I thought someone who would appreciate it should have it (both of my friends' have a Gypsy, or I would have given it to one of them). A woman nearby called to me "Take it and I'll trade you for an Expression!" Really??? We traded and both of us were shocked at our good luck! I had no idea those machines were so expensive.
CK did give one cartridge in our gift bags (Jubilee), so I have one cartridge to play with. Since I had gone by train, my friend is shipping the machine to me, so I don't know if there's a cartridge in the machine. I'll find out when it gets here.
What a weekend, no?!!
