I won a bike!!!

I won second prize in the raffle at my daughter's spring fair. I won a Trek Bike - Navigator 200. It retails at 379.00.

I guess that it is a message for be to include biking. Maybe that is the anwser to my weekend struggles. We can go on a family bike ride. DD learned how to ride her two wheeler without training wheels on Mother's Day.

Hey, that's great! I've been pricing bikes the last couple of weeks, thinking I might like to start riding again. I haven't been on a bike in about 16 years though...I could really hurt myself .

I have that same concern. I rode it for about aminute and I could not believe how comfortable it was.

Kathy , I have my bike and I didn't tell the kids today to go for a bike ride because I don't have a helmet for myself , but now that I'm going to be home on weekends and they both ride on two wheels, I will be getting myself one and we will go for bike rides. I know how to ride a bike, but I never learned how to use handbrakes. However, I hear there are "retro" (and just when did my childhood become "retro"??) bikes out there that just have footbrakes. I should look into them ...
