Ever have one of those days that just went by to quick? Wished it wouldnt end because your enjoying it so much...

I just had one this past Sat...My DH, myself, and our couple friends went out to Universal where we rode the Mummy, then went to SeaWorld and had a GREAT time, then finished off the night at the AllStar Movies Food Court for some awesome Chicken Quisadillas. It was just a really good time. Tons of laughing and joking around, and we started planning our fall trip to Williamsburg together. It was just a great time.

So anyone else have one of these recently? Care to share?

Yes, but not for awhile. I am ready for the stress to diminish, and the good days to start.

The last time was a nice warm day a couple of months ago. We went to the zoo, cool, but not cloudy. The animals were all active. We hot dogs, cotton candy and hot chocolate. Finished up the evening with a movie and dinner at the Chophouse. Great day, good times, very few and far between.

Sounds like you had the perfect day!

TODAY!!!! Its My Birthday!!!!!!

Its been going good so far and there are still 7 hours to go!!
DH brought me pastries in bed this morning and he went in late. I then met a friend, who is in from Chicago with her 2 newphews, at the park for an hour. Took the kids to the bus stop and then came home and took a candlelight bubble bath, in peace. (You know, no banging on the door) DH is on his way home now and we are going to the jewelry store to pick up my birthday present! (a diamond thumb ring). I am not sure where we will end up for dinner and dessert! Hope my day keeps going strong, cause tomorrow will be just an ordinary day and I will officially be a new age ( Im not telling you!;) )

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!

Our two days last month at Disneyland Paris...the weather was terrific and I could have just stayed on BTMRR with the family forever.

Thank you for this thread. Today has been a bear.
To sum it up as tactfully as I can "everything I touched did not turn to gold".

You just made me think about last Saturday. It was one of those perfect days. The sunshine and the air temperature seemed to embrace us.
DH and I spent most of the day outside just relaxing.

We received phone calls from all three children and not one was having a crisis. This is always a good time.

Ahhhh - thank you for taking me back there instead of where I've been today.:sunny:

Happy Birthday, Tinkerbell739!!!!

I had that day just yesterday!!!!!

I got to see a dear friend who had been working in Atlanta for the past 4 years, whom I have not seen in 3 years, and is finally home again.

I got to spend the evening last night with my sis at the Mass 9/11 benefit concert which featured BNL, Guster, and a new band to me Avery (but I WILL be checking their stuff out too).

It was a GREAT day, and I SO did not want it to end.

January 23-the last day my DH had a pass before he left to go to the middle east

The last full day I had like that was my son's 10th birthday, last week. I was just full of wonder at this amazing child I'd raised, and could not believe we were already in the double digits.

And happy birthday, Tinkerbelle! :)

When we were just in Disney there were several days that I didn't want to end. On top of that, they went too darn fast!

Last August late one evening sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch outside the yacht club with my DH and best friends. We had just eaten at the Yachtsmans steakhouse and then went for a walk around the boardwalk, caught the fireworks from Epcot and then went to sit in the hot tub at the BCV with my best friend followed by Champagne on our balcony!! Its the last time I can truely remember feeling relaxed.

Amen...I hear that!!:hyper:

Actually, every day I wake up, roll out of bed and can walk, is a good day for me!! :rotfl:

A few weeks ago my 10 year old son and I had a mommy and son only day at MK. I think it must have been the best day we have ever had together, no worries, we did whatever we wanted, no rush, and we still got to do everything. We had an early breakfast at Chef Mickey's, lunch at Harbour House, Ice Cream and great seats for the parade and fireworks, I let him ride Space Mountain as many times as he wanted! We truly had a perfect day even with the early morning rain. Being of limited income I knew that we would not be able to make it back for a while. Since he was 6 we have been going atleast 2 to 3 times per year. So when we left that night (it was very late), everyone else was rushing out of the park, and we just stood there in front of city hall and stared at the beautiful castle for a long time. We talked about the trips we had taken, how great our day was, we talked about how we cant wait to come again, and best of all we talked about how much we love each other and how lucky we are to have each other. I wish I could relive that day a millon times! so now I am about o cry and have to go hug my son! LOL

Two days at DLR last November with DW:earsboy:

The last wonderful day I had was January 15, 2004:
My DH and I arrived at AKL around 1 am, went to sleep, woke up around 9 am, and ordered breakfast room service.
We ate out on our balcony while watching the animals. It was a beautiful, crisp January morning.
We walked to the bus stop and waited for any bus-we would go to the park that the first bus that pulled up was going.
We went to AK! Had a wonderful time, lunch at Tusker House outside with the Floridian sun beating on me :)
Took the bus from AK to MK to ride a few rides and see the castle, then to Epcot for dinner and Illuminations!

Then back to AKL and slept like a baby!
It was truly a wonderful, magical day with no worries!:wizard:
I wish I could have more of these days in my day to day reality.

Oh, I have LOTS of those but, the LAST would have to be a couple weeks ago, in the Wisconsin Dells, when my brother, sil and niece joined us unexpectedly for a couple days and, we ALL had such FUN! I just LOVE them all and, love spending time with them and, I felt pretty good too, that my baby brother (12 years younger) would even WANT to spend that time with me and my family. BIG PLUSSES all around!!! :sunny:

Nice thread!!! :smooth:

That's the feeling I get on our last day at WDW everytime we go. :( You try so hard to enjoy that last day, but all you can think about is not wanting to go home.
