I wish I had remembered/ thought to pack ...

Aerosol deoderant. No matter how comfy and broken-in my shoes are, no matter what kind of socks I have, the only thing that prevents blisters on my feet is the Aerosol deoderant. I've tried Body Glide and everything else mentioned on these boards. As odd as I thought it sounded when I first read it, nothing has worked as well for walking all those Disney miles!

Love this thread & will def. try this tip! :thumbsup2 NEVER get blisters except of course at Disney :rotfl:

Here is a tip for international travellers like us. Instead of having to get lots of adapter plugs to charge cameras, phones etc up with just get a 4/6 way extension lead, cut our plug off the end and wire the international plug on instead. That way you don't need to bring any adapters with you. We have one 6 way socket with a US plug on and a 6 way socket with a European plug on that we keep in our cases when we store them in the loft so we don't forget them.

Great idea - thanks!

One great idea is I like to pack wall suction cup hooks. They are great for up light jackets, purses and bags. I also like to pack a small one to use in the bathroom for my scrubbie/washcloth thing.

Also does double duty as a bathroom air freshener!:lmao:

Another quick bathroom air freshener tip which takes up no packing space... matches.

Just strike a match or two once you're done with... you know... and I promise you it does a better job than air fresheners at masking any lingering scents.

Cold Medicine and maalox tablets.

I found out the hard way that the resorts don't carry the type of cold medicine I can take - a pretty basic one but all they had was sudafed which I can't have.

And Maalox tablets - they had pepto but it didn't work for my DS at all.

if you drive buy extra fuses for your car chargers- for things like the portable DVD players- ours blew within the first 2 hours of the 9 hour trip going down- and we could not find a replacement fuse or even car charger while we were at Disney- needless to say the ride home was loooooong- Oh and replacement fuses for a pack of 3 were just under $2 at Radio Shack that I purchased as soon as we got home!

I always take a laundry bag
quarters and fresh pennies for the pressed penny machine
all over the counter meds- including alka seltzer and mylanta- After all we are doing the DDP!
Antibacterial wipes and Clorox Wipes- I wipe all bathroom surfaces down as soon as we check in!
Also- in the Target travel section found a very cool item that I always pack- Palmolive wash cloths- when you run them under water it activates the soap and they are great for one time uses for things like cups and mugs- and I think they come 8 to a package for .99 cents
hats
water bottle coozies? is that how you spell? the insulated covers for the water bottles to keep them cool

I am in the midst of my packing frenzy- we leave in 9 days! woohooo- I will add anything that I think of as it comes up

Happy Obsessive Disney Packing all!

Im the worlds worst at packing..Im very forgetful..Im travelling with hubby, 6yr old and a 11 month baby. I was wondering if anyone has or knew od a good packing list? Thanks....we are heading to POP on 2nd May.:)

I was glad I had dish soap with me to wash the resort mugs as well as my DD's sippy cups.

Take a regular sponge and cut it in half or four pieces. Drizzle it with dish soap. DO NOT add water, let the soap dry into the sponge. Place pieces in a ziploc bag. When you need to wash anything, add water. Instant soapy sponge! We use this for our resort mugs,or anything else we feels needs a good cleanin'!:cool1:

I will be traveling with a 10mo old and one thing I like to take are the huggies presoaped wash clothes that are disposible. they are great for major messes to when you are in the park. I always keep a few in my diaper bag in a ziploc bag.

BODYGLIDE!!!

How embarrassing. Anyway, it's used to prevent skin from chafing and getting irritated. After 3 or four days of walking and sweating, you'll appreciate using it from day one.
