The over the door organizer ----great for keeping things up and away.

Small baskets to place on the table--we toss everything into it at night so we know wher we "dropped" everything the night before. Keeps snacks and little momentos you pick up organized.

Downey wrinkle reducer. I spray down the shirts we are going to wear the next day before going to bed, by morning wrinkle free.

If staying a value resort a shower curtain and the 3m hooks (forgot what they are called). I out the hooks on the wall in front of the sink. Then I clothespin a large beach towel to the shower curtain. This gives you additional private space for dressing in the morning or changing. I HATE getting dressed in a steamy bathroom and trying pull on clothes that have been sittin ghere in the steam also!!!!

A flashlight. We always travel with a flashlight---because you never know when you might need one.

Last year we had planned on decorating our resort room window with these really cool Halloween lights. Unfortunately, the outlet was too far away from the window for us to actually use them. My advice pack an extension cord

Binder clips also come in handy to keep the curtains closed. I hate that they don't close all the way and there is that tiny stream of light always shining through that little sliver where the curtains just don't overlap. After a long day at the park, darkness helps for a good night sleep!

Oh I like the binder clips idea for the cutain, but for me more for privacy.

One thing, since they have the signs at Disney about reusing bath towels, you know thinking green, well if you have more than one person staying in a room, the mousekeeping comes in and either rehangs your towels, or replaces them. If you are like me, you don't want to reuse a towel that someone else used, even if they are family. You might want to be able to quickly identify which towel was yours the day before. So, I have decided I will take clips or colored safety pins, something the mousekeeper can easily see. Assign each person a different color and clip or pin this to the towel, then when the towels are rehung, easy to see which is which or belongs to what user.

I also have mousekeeper envelopes already to add money at the time of our trip for their tip, so if you plan to leave a tip like I do, one envelope for each night of your stay. I also have envelopes for tips for our ADR's ready to go.

We also bring pillows! We always bring our own pillows... no matter where we stay! Why? Because you never know if someone has drooled on the furnished pillow, used it as a cushion for a chair as they sat in the room, or if they have propped something up (like their feet ), and so on!

We also bring Tylenol and Dramamine (travel size for the parks)!

Oh yeah, we never go without slippers (or flip-flops) for in-room use and surf shoes for the pool/pool area! Being diabetic means being ecspecially careful with your feet so this is now a "must" for me... but to be truthful we have always used surf shoes in pools and DH/DS are so funny... they even use slippers or sandals at home, they have an aversion for walking with bare feet)!

Baggies! All sizes of baggies! I use Ziploc... like and trust them best! They are great to keep items dry in case of water rides or rain and they definately help keep me organized!

I use them both in-room and in my park bag!

I have snack baggies big enough to hold my small cell phone (and for DH/DS cell phones as well, but they usually keep those baggies in their pockets for water-ride use), snack size for my hand sanitizer and for my small sunscreen/SPF lip balm, then quart size for Tylenol/Dramamine/ prescription meds/inhalers/ect..., and one also for contact solution and contact cases, then XL size to hold my bag if a downpour starts, gallon size for a receipts and tickets inside my bag, and a gallon size to put my camera case into, ect... I also take extras to keep in my bag.

In the room we use them for packing and storing items, food, ect...

I purchased the very extra large zip bags to pack swim gear in, suit, towel, sun block, flip flops etc. That way they could change at one of the beaches into swimming stuff, then put regular clothes in the bag, and return the wet stuff when changing back before heading back to the resort. That kept all things together and all things wet in the bag until they returned and we could hand things out to dry or take them to the laundry room to dry.

When kids were little, I packed one outfit in a gallon zip bag, marked what day it was to be worn, and packed that in the suitcase, then the dirty things were returned to the bad when bathing that night. Kept the dirty things from the clean things. I would pack everything for one outfit in one bag, top, shorts, underthings, socks and ribbons etc for my daughter. I had the kids dress with alike t-shirts when they were little, then if one child wondered off, I had an example of what the kid was wearing to show the CM's when looking for the missing child. In this case it would have been the 7 yr old who would have and did wonder off, luckily I never had to get the CM's involved. He was quite independent and did not see the harm in just going to the restroom with out telling me. Oh my, it is a wonder I did not have a heart attack when he was young.

I also get the samples of laundry detergent, if I am planning to do laundry while there. Plenty of change for the machines too. Laundry soap at WDW is lots of $$$.

GREAT ideas from everyone. I also always bring small and extra large ziplock bags. They do have so many uses. We bring a ziplock bag of powdered laundry detergent. We also bring a ziplock bag of cereal for a quick breakfast or snack. We use the bags to keep the cameras and stuff dry on rides and to pack wet or dirty kids clothes in. You can use one to make an icepack too.
Lysol or Oust are great to bring both for the disinfecting purpose and because you'll be in close quarters -if you know what I mean.
I also bring a coloring book and crayons so the kids have something to do while we're getting ready. If kids bring a stuffed animal Mousekeeping might do something fun with it. Kids love to decorate the room window area. The dollar stores sometimes have those window clings. We found Princess and Pooh ones. I wish I brought some with me last time - I heard about it every time we walked by other rooms with them. Individual powdered drink mix packets are good for in-room drinks if you don't like the taste of the tap water. Also, I don't know if anyone mentioned rain ponchos. We get the dollar store ones so we can just toss the soggy ones.

I get most of my sample size things at Walmart, most recently I got Tide, which is the only detergent I can use as I have allergies. I just browse the sample section in health and beauty each time I visit. In the past I have gotten Gain (which I could use for the family's clothes) and some fabric softeners, I think Downy but not sure. If I had not had enough samples, I had planned to go to a local laundrymat and purchase the laundry things needed before leaving for Florida, that way I would had still saved over the cost of purchasing at WDW.

Also if you go to the Walmart website they have a section for "Samples", they are free, the last time I looked, they had Tide samples.

I also check the website from time to time for products that I use, to see if they are offering free samples and request them when they do. Things like laundry detergent and non perishables I put back for my Disney trips. Things like cereal we eat, that is until it gets close to the trip, then we save them for breakfast or snacking.

We use these for our ears, applying topical ointments, and I use them with my make-up routine... I forgot to list it earlier but these are definately "must have items" for my family!

I don't know if they are longer, but try the ponchos in the camping section of Walmart or more than likely any store that has camping stuff. They were only about $1 when I last bought them.

I think the best thing we took on our last trip was the baggies. That was a great suggestion. I didn't take the basket to throw stuff each day. I will be bringing one on my next trip.

I also took an extension cord which was great. I always knew where all the chargers were and when I did use a regular outlet instead of the extension cord, I left my it at the hotel, ARGH!!!

One new suggestion, hand wipes or diaper wipes (even if you don't have kids). They come in handy when you get something on your fingers or just want to freshen up. Don't forget your Tide Pen! If you are like me, you can't eat without something dripping on your clothes.

Never leave home without baggies! That left over half of a cookie tastes even better a half hour later!

Alos, we throw in 6 or 10 pieces of tissue paper. I line the bottom of the drawers before putting clothes in. I really can't imagine the mousekeeping scrubbing those down each time...
