I refuse to turn the heat on either. I live in FLORIDA I shouldn't have to!!!

I love the cold though, so if it were up to me we would never have the heat on. It's only when the cats come to me and try to get into my sweater that the heat goes on!

I hope you didn't get to cold last night op. An electric blanket is a great idea! Not to expensive. We keep our house at 70*. We have an outdoor woodstove we use for heat though, don't use the furnace at all. We are country bumpkins

The only time I was REALLY cold last night was when DF kept stealing all the covers lol..the rest of the time it was nice with our down blanket and two huge heavy knit blankets that his grandma made us. I did wake up at one point since the WEIGHT of those covers on my chest made it hard to breath lol..though that could have been the baby's feet pushing up into my chest lol.

Now getting out of bed was harsh cause out there it was cold as heck lol!!

Nope, don't miss it at all. BTW, I actually lived in East Aurora.



OP, I know what you mean about getting out of bed. I spent most of the day there because it was the only place I was warm.

the lower the temperature goes, the more moisture is held in the air. If you are keeping your house unusually cool, be on the lookout for moisture build-up, as well as mould in a corner somewhere(stairwell ceiling).
I think it's minus ten outside right now...you guys are nuts!
