Otto's Doll, I deliberately didn't buy those, I knew they would never make it. I hope they are in my basket!

So far the candy is safe, DH put it high up on a closet shelf.

They were good, but very sweet. I will put some in my Dad's basket and have one here and there, but I wouldn't be able to eat alot at one time. (good thing... Atkins doesn't mix well with these! )

But the great side of Atkins for me has been that I've completely LOST my sweet tooth........... so the Easter candy is actually safe from me this year. Now if the EB brought Lay's potato chips or some really good pretzels I'd be in a fix.....

There's never been a licorice jelly bean in any of my kids' baskets because someone.............not sure who.......... gets to them first. But not this year.

I must confess, I have had to run out and buy more Easter candy becasue we (mostly ME) can't stay away from it. Mainly the chocolate. I'm suppose to be on a diet, too. I really want to lose a few pounds before our trip....but it's going to have to wait until this candy is all gone. I have no self control around chocolate.

That is why we do this strategy:

1) Buy candy that the parents dont like
2) Have a daughter that has a sesitivity to chocolate
3) Keep said candy in trunk of car (no chocolate so no melting) so you can't eat it
4) Only open it the day prior to Easter or early early Easter morning

Our Easter bunny has strict orders to bring mostly peanut butter eggs cos the woman in the house wont touch it
