Fill in the BLANK. It doesn't matter, every airline has suffered a black eye at one point. Jet Blue, which has had a stellar reputation until this weekend, really took a big public relations hit with cancelled flights and entrapped passengers. Delta, trying to emerge from bankruptsy has had to consolidate flights, limit amenities and dump Song which many people liked including myself. Southwest doesn't offer reserved seating, USAir overbooks, etc. So many times I hear people saying or a read a post on the transportation board in which someone swears to never fly a specific airline again because of a bad experience. I prefer Delta and am willing to risk my $$$ flying with an airline in bankruptsy because the more airlines that exist, the better it all is for the flying public. That doesn't mean that I won't fly with another airline. If SWA offers me a substantial savings, I am there. I am just not sure it makes sense for consumers to boycott an airline when they hit a rough patch; whether it be Jet Blue today or SWA tomorrow. Any thoughts?
However, the continuous bad service and overbooking and other problems I've experienced with American will definitely keep me away from them. I've gotten fed up with this sorry excuse for an airline but that's because of many different things.
Changing planes there can be a hassle. We flew through there on the way home from Vegas last year. We landed in a thunderstorm, and as usual, the airport was a zoo.
