I went to my very first crop!

Hi all!

I'm very excited, I went to my very first crop with a Creative Memories consultant. I'm re-hooked. I hadn't done my scrapbooks in 2 1/2 years. Now I can't wait to get organized and lock myself in my craft room.

Just wanted to tell someone who would understand my excitement.

You might as well pre-enroll yourself in Scrappers Anonymous. I hear they have a very good 12 step program. I wouldn't know, of course, as I don't have a problem. Really, I don't. Other people just think I do.

Ok... Time for the "newbie" question. I've never been to a "crop" what happens and what's it like? what do you bring?

A crop is a time where you go to either someone's home or a scrapbook store, and you work on your album(s). You bring your album, pictures, favorite cutting tools, stickers, papers, pens and whatever else you use. I am a Creative Memories consultant and I host a crop once a month at my home...what is nice for my customers who are new to scrapping, is that they can come to my house and use my cutting tools & pens, and if they choose to, can buy tape runners, stickers, papers as they are scrapbooking. There is usually a nominal fee involved. It's a nice time to be able to get out of your house, esp if you have kids who may disturb you while scrapping, get together with other ladies and get some work done in your books.
