I'm pressed for time, so this will be a teaser post.

I saw 6 out of 7 houses. I didn't see People Under the Stairs because I heard it was a waste of time from many sources. I saw the first Bill & Ted and the Second Robosaurus show. I even rode ROTM.

I managed all of that from the span of 6:15p-11p. :darth:

glad you did get to go last night to hhn.

and bttf was great to ride wasn't it !!

i hear you can still get on it thru tomorrow.

i love hhn........completely and totally addicted to it.

PUTS didn't go over too well the first 2 weeks this month.
they tweaked it some and it was a hit or miss on which cast was in it.

it wasn't my favorite.
sorry to the fellow csw er that works threre....

Did you walk over to Marvel Island?
I'm sure that helped with the crowds.

Details:

No, I didn't go to Marvel Island. There was no need whatsoever. My touring plan, plus a series of Fortunate Events allowed me to see everything I wanted to see in that short time span. Here's how it transpired:

Arrival: 5:45pm. Yes, there's a line of people waiting to get in. No biggie. The gates would open around 6p anyway.

When everyone was let into the park, the TMs were trying to direct everyone to see "The Arrival" show. Fortunate Event #1 allowed me to bypass this show and go directly to All Nite Die In. IMO, this was the BEST house. Great scares, excellent atmosphere, and you saw the Director more than once. I told the first Director "I love your work!" He looked at me blankly and said "thank you" in a creepy voice. That set an excellent tone for the house.

Next was Fortunate Event #2, which happened just after exiting Die-In. I got RIP'd to the front of Psycho Scareapy, which was scheduled to open at 6:30. My dad & I were the 3rd and 4th people (victims) to go in for the night. That allowed for a fresh cast and fresh scares. Jack was there, being crazy, and it was fun. In the potty room, I got blasted with some foul water. I said "Aw, $hit". The scareactor in the room said "Exactly." :rotfl: Great house, plenty of fun scares.

After this, we went over to Screamhouse. 10 min wait. No biggie. Screamhouse was set up very well and the Caretaker was everywhere, but the house seemed short and lacking in action. I was disappointed.

By this time is was only 6:45. The first Bill & Ted show didn't start until 7:30. I headed over to Run. 15 min wait. Waste of time. Run was a very bland house, gory, yes, but bland. Weak scares, no Eddie, and it didn't have the same maze feel that Run from 2001 had. Worst house of the night.

We then went over to see Bill & Ted. Fun show. Before entering, I saw that the Storyteller's house had a 45 min wait :crazy2: The show had a great intro, fun characters, lots of stage fighting. The show even joked on itself/previous shows. The story ended very poorly and the finale was only average at best. Not the best show I've seen, but not the worst (2001, 2002, 2003 = worst).

After the show was done, it was just past 8p. Robosaurus started at 9:45. Food time! After eating, we went to go see how long the wait for Psychopath was. 60 mins! :scared1: We skipped that and headed towards Robosaurus. Since there was time, I wanted to ride ROTM in single riders. ROTM was having technical difficulties when I went up there (plus had a 60 min regular wait). We left to get our spot at Robosaurus. I then told him I'll go back and ride ROTM and I should be back before 9:30. I went back in and the ride was operating normally. Fortunate Event #3. I saw someone I used to work with and got RIP'd to the front.Up there, others recognized me. I talked to them in my Minion Voice, telling them I was "just a simple sacrifice. No soul survives." That cracked them up.

I returned to Robosaurus and my dad was amazed at how quickly I returned. Robosaurus started at 9:45 and the show was very simple, yet fun. The last time I saw Robosaurus was HHN 2 or 3 (I don't remember which). It was cool to see him again. This was the ONLY event I took pics of. The show ended andFortunate Event #4 took place. I got two HHN express passes. :bounce: Next stop, Psychopath.

Before I got into Psychopath, Fortunate Event #5 took place. The TM at Express overheard my dad & I saying we only had one house left that we wanted to see and we got our passes back. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
Psychopath was a great house. Low budget, low-gore, but very effective scares and a very fun theme to the house. The tunnel was classic, and the eyeball room was fun as well.

Last Stop: Storyteller! Dungeon of Terror was a decent house. The Storyteller was only at the beginning, but the house had a lot of great scares and excellent ambiance. When I exited the house, I thought I was safe, and then a chainsaw guy snuck up behind me. Whoops. :rotfl:

By then it was near 11p. I had no desire to see anything else, so we were done. This was a fun HHN.

Now, for those of you with short attention spans, here's my house ranking:

1)All Nite Die-In
2)Psychopath
3)Psychoscareapy
4(tie))Dungeon of Terror
4 (tie))Screamhouse
6)Run
People Under the Stairs = N/A

Bill & Ted 3.5* out of 5*
Robosaurus 4* out of 5*. He's old school!

Overall event 4.5* out of 5*

I was wondering how you got so much done. Seems like things fell into place. But your post also proves that by 11pm, most people are tired and ready to leave. The feet get tired from standing so long.

I'm sure if someone showed up at 9pm with the idea of staying until 2am, they could probably get thru the houses with a short wait at the very end. But most are there at opening, and leave at 11pm.

I wasn't tired by any means. I saw what I wanted and was quite content.

Plus I did have to be up at 5:30 the next morning...
