I went to Fort Walton Beach, Florida over the weekend. 
This was my first time there and except for the slimy green algae in the water at the beach, I had a great time. We stayed at the Hampton Inn on the beach and it was a very nice hotel. We drove over to Destin a couple of times to explore that area and, WOW! So many stores, condos, restaurants, it was crazy busy.
Have any one of you been to that area? If so, what do you like about it.
