OMG! I had not seen this movie since I was a kid. I remembered the gist of it, but I was not prepared for how emotional I would get!! When the widow let Todd go, I just bawled! Then at the end, when Copper was sleeping and they had a voice over of Todd saying "Friends forever" I had to leave the room!! 
Almost lost it again!
I guess it's just been an emotional time for me this weekend. It's a great movie, but quite the tearjerker.
