anyone has used Sky auction and if so was it ok did you get a good deal . I am a little leary of these kind of sites but there is a hotel I would like to bid on . I am not sure how it works. If someone could help that would be great. :cool1:

I had read good things about them on another bboard, so gave them a try for Boston Citypasses this year. I had to bid on several auctions before finally winning a set.

They were absolutely a pleasure to deal with. No muss, no fuss. The passes arrived in lightning speed by an expedited carrier. The charge to the credit card was exactly the amount it should have been. The passes were just as described.

I wouldn't hesitate to use them for a trip. The only negative remarks I have ever seen about them related to cruises. Just be sure to read ALL of the listing thoroughly as there are fees for various things such as certain dates or larger sizes or better hotels.

Mistyhon,

I used skyauction last summer with no problems at all.

1 wk at Sheraton Vistana Resort 1 BR - $265. (all fees included)
1 wk at Silver Lake Resort 2BR $315. (all fees included)

We loved both resorts but Silver Lake was located right next to AK
so it felt more like being on property! I booked in Feb for July/Aug stay.

Good Luck!

Eileen

We also got a 2 bedroom at Vistana for $400 for the week last year and this year 3 bedroom at Embassy grand for Thanksgiving this year. Both are just around the corner from Disney. We really like Skyauction and the best deals of course are for off season.
