How much I enjoy these boards. I feel like I have some very good friends, some of whom I met while at Discon, some of whom I chat with, or PM with, or just read and enjoy their threads and posts. I feel very lucky to have found this place, and I just wanted to say so. With all the uncertainty going on, the Dis is one place where I can know that some people think like me, some don't, most are respected for their opinions, and everyone mostly gets on with everyone else. People can ask for advise, or prayers, or good thoughts, and they get what they ask for. This is an amazing community, and I hope it does nothing but continue on it's course.

You said exactly what I was thinking Marsha! I've briefly experienced other boards and the people do not even compare to the people on the DIS boards. This is a very special group of people and I have felt very comfortable among them all. Hopefully I will actually get to meet some of you in the future. What a special family we have here! I have to agree with you, I've only been on the DISboards about three weeks now, and this is such an amazing place!!!

It's great sharing what info I can, and it's even better hearing back from others, who have seen and been to places that my family is looking forward to going and seeing.

Generally when I have a question on just about anything, I can find at least ONE person who either knows the answer or will take the time to help me find it.

It's a fun place to be in.
