TUESDAY, DEC 4:
I was up and not so at them and downstairs at the front desk at 5:30 a. m. - Yikes. My Tiffany driver and car were already there (David) and was quickly loaded up and off to the Yacht Club to pick up Dave. He was ready and we were soon off to the airport.
Upon arrival, checked in and made our way to the gate where I was to leave from. Of course had the usual 2 hour wait, but soon it was time to go home.
I had a fairly empty flight to Pittsburgh, and I had all 3 seats to myself, so once the seat belt sign went off, I stretched out and took a nap. Arrived in Pittsburgh, and made plenty of time to make my connection back to Dayton.
Arrived home right at 1 p. m. and my dad was out front to meet me about 2 minutes after I walked out of the door. Got home, and quickly ran to the post office and the grocery - WELCOME BACK TO THE REAL WORLD MOM! Then picked up Kara at choir rehearsal. She came down the hall flying and about knocked me off of my feet. It was good to be home and be with Kara again, but I was sad too.
CLOSING THOUGHTS:
I had no problems about traveling. Actually I "felt" safer this trip than in the past. Security check ins at the airports and in the parks were stress free for me at least, and I had no problems. The only thing is that they wanded my backpack by hand after it had gone through the radar machine in Orlando. Guess they were checking out my Mickey pasta. I had a wonderful time, by myself and with old and new friends.
I am already looking forward to DIS CON II.
Hope to see yall there!!!!!!!!!!!
