it was a change of time and equipment and then it was some letters and not the usual 747 word that I am used to seeing.......well we are going next April by Continental.....our first time with this airline.....and the letters that said our plane was an ERJ.....well I look on this site and there it is.....ERJ and supposedly it is not a little one but the bigger of the two .....so at least it is a plane.......is this a jet?? I hope so.......thanks again for the information that I didn't even know I wanted until it was right in front of my nose......

you must know that I LOVE,.......yah right.....had to do a few of those on short notice......

hi Pum!

I have flown many of the airlines and am a white knuckle flier. If I had to choose, Continental would be my favorite. Enjoy your trip.

If you have a chance, take a look at the Continental web site. I just took a virtual tour of this neat looking jet! I know what you mean about flying on a different type of plane than you are used to. I'm the same way, but this ERJ type looks air worthy enough and it has Rolls-Royce engines!!

I just flew on an ERJ 2 weeks ago, from Detroit to Dayton, Ohio. It was a business trip so I didn't have a choice. I was very nervous, but it was fine.

It is a 4 engine jet, that seats about 60 people. It had 3 people on 1 side and 2 on the other, just like the bigger jets. The seats are the same, the overheads are different only where the overhead wing goes over the plane, they are only maybe 1/2 as deep in that section.
Inside the biggest difference was that it's shorter.
Hope you'll have a great flight.
