It's not addressed to me :( It's to the women who owned our house eight years ago!

I know the PIN numbers aren't transferable, but do you think if I called up Disney Reservations and explained, they'll let me use it since the address matches, even though the name doesn't?

I'd been hoping for a PIN code, and I do get other mailings from Disney, but now I'm worried if my address is tied to this other person's name in their system then I'll never get a code of my own.

Not the end of the world, but I'm curious if there's any way I can use this. Thanks!

If the pin is good enough, change your name. ;)

I don't think they will transfer the pin to you, after all with disney you are two different 'acounts", even with the same address.

Now if you call up and complain that somone is getting pins that doesn't live there anymore and since you're actually interested and lving ,aren't recieving any. Maybe they will hook you up.

As someone who has gotten lots of PINS from DLR over the years, I wouldn't do it. It's not your PIN. It just happens to be a PIN that came to an address where someone used to live. DLR has the PIN code offers attached to certain people in their system. When they pull up people's names, they can see which offers those folks received. So that means they have that offer attached to the other woman's name in the system, not your name. If you don't even have any family ties to this person, then I don't see how you could use it.

They occasionally send me offers (to my e-mail address) with my friend's name on them - they go back and forth between sending me offers with her name and with my own name - because my friend's name was on my reservation as a guest when I stayed at the GCH, and their system mistook her for being the reservation holder, even though she was not. So when I get those PIN offers adressed to my friend's name, I call Disney and sometimes they say they don't know if they will be able to accept it, even though it was sent to MY address or my e-mail address - and other times they say they CAN accept it as long as the friend in question is with me at check-in (which she is, so that's not a problem at all). But they are usually pretty particular about that sort of thing.

Unless you can find the woman whose name is on the PIN offer and go to DLR with her in tow, I would not try.:goodvibes
