My DS said that Emo kids are emotional, hence the "Emo". He also said that the Emo guys wear girl clothes. They also have specific hair cuts with it real short in the back with long bangs over in the eyes and in the face. Just going by what my high schooler said.

Ohhhhh!! I know one of those....he had his friend tell him to stop wearing hair pretties in his hair. Odd young man.

So glad I opened this thread...you all count as my one new thing learned on the Dis board today!!

My older son called my younger son an "emo kid" just the other day and I had no idea what he meant.
