I was charged twice for vouchers from hotwire!

I just checked my bank account and found out the 12 Q&C vouchers I just ordered were charged twice or double. The amount they took is exactly double what it should be. I am so mad!!!!!!!!

I sent an email, but can't call until Friday. Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice??

ps. My dh will be pretty mad if he finds out I messed up with these vouchers. He was pretty skeptical in the first place.

I forgot to say I used my debit card, not a credit card. whatever. I just can't believe it. I'm so upset about this I can't sleep!

I have never had this happen to me, but I've heard with Hotwire and what used to be Connections to ONLY use a credit card and not your debit card. With a credit card at least, you can dispute the charges with your company as to with a debit card, your money is gone and you have to wait a bit to get it all resolved!
I would just keep doing what you're doing now which is call them first thing Friday and see what can be done. YOU didn't mess up with the vouchers, Hotwire did and everything is going to come out in your favor, you'll see.

It happened to me once, when I was ordering and thought it was taking too long and hit the button again. I had paid with cc and had the payment held, until it was straightened out. Because it was my error, and they had already shipped, I would have had to send them back registered mail, so I put them up on eBay instead..and earned enough to pay for the ones I aucitoned, and the ones I used.

Does it say they charged them twice, or two charges are pending? Once I couldn't get my order to go through on regular hotwire (not the saving club) and it showed two "authorizations" but in the end the charge was only for one. I hope that is all that happened for you too.

just says debit for $291.90. Which i knew was wrong. But when I divided that amount in 2 I got $ 145.95, which is what it should be! So I'm pretty confused as to how that could have happened. I only hit the button 1 time. I'm pretty worried about this.
