I want to super-use FP+! But don't know park layout

I agree with most of the PPs. You are doing a little kids and slow grannies trip, which means the hard-core DIS commando expert touring plan is, even if possible, perhaps not the most enjoyable way to tour in your current situation. When the kids are a little older and you have 2 or 3 trips under your belt will be plenty of time to go rope-drop to park closing, complete with multiple times on the big rides and no waiting!

You are going in to the situation SO much better prepared than your average newbie - most of the people around you are going to be standing there clueless, having no idea what the kiosks are for, let alone that they can use them for 4th FP+. Just knowing what it is you want to do while you are there gives you a leg up. I know my first trip as an adult and with a kid of my own (before I knew about the DISboards), we spent a huge amount of time just looking at each other like, "what the heck do we do next?" And even with that it was the BEST time EVER!!!

Arm yourself with as much knowledge as possible, while understanding that until you are there you won't know just how it will play out, then relax and enjoy! And don't kill the grannies!

In the Magic Kingdom, the farthest apart two attractions are from each other is half a mile. That would be Splash/Big Thunder to either Space Mountain or the Barnstormer. Both are about half a mile. So walking as a snail's pace (say 2mph, my speed walk is 4mph and normal walk is 3mph) you could still go all the way across the park in 15 minutes, 20 if you want to be safe and figure for a bathroom break or slower walking.

From the hub, nothing is more than .3 miles away. I didn't look at DHS, Epcot, or DAK, but you can go to MapMyRun and zoom in on the parks and see for yourself. Hope this helps!
