I was looking at prices for Poly this afternoon (4PM) through Orbitz, based off of the release of the new summer prices. It was $423. Now it's $498. None of the other hotels changed. I can't swing that. I also want to cry.

Yup, the sold out of the Standard View rooms at $423 fairly quickly. All that's left are the higher priced classifications.

Yeah, it's a bummer when you aren't ready to hit "BOOK IT" and the rooms sell out. You could book your alternate, depending on a cancellation fee, and continue to stalk if your category becomes available again. It's not something to count on but I've seen things see-saw, before.

Don't cry! We've stayed elsewhere and loved it. You'll still have a fun vacation and it sounds like you have a budget that allows some flexibility. Open yourself up to it.

Thanks We do, but we have two little ones and spent a ton of time at MK and at the pool. After looking at some of the other ones the splash area is just ridiculous. Appreciate your words though

Actually, on Orbitz, 5 people had booked in the last 48 hours at 4 and 8 pm today it was 5 people in the last 48 hours. It's overall everywhere. It's been less than 48 hours since the rates were released...I was just looking on Monday. I must have just missed. We got it last year at least a month after it was released.

Fewer and fewer rooms are being included in discounts every year.

Don't give up hope...I have noticed that it will be one price one day and the next they'll have different inventory. Just keep checking, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Did you try cheap tickets?

Most of them will allow you to take an additional 10-20% off of WDW's discounted price.

It seems more rooms are coming back on today...I am wondering if it was travel agents with holds for their clients? I'm not 100% but there are options on Disneys website that I don't think were there yesterday.

Where do you put the promo code in on Orbitz? The price they give for the rooms at Disney is the same as the Disney site...but it says there is a 15% off promo code to use..just not sure where to enter it.

It varies based on the page you start with but there is a spot for a promo code. There are times they make it hard to find. If all else fails I use the app, where it's usually easier to find the box

YAY! I booked it last night on Orbitz for two weeks later than we wanted for the $423. There was something going on that week and we really didn't want to miss it. I just checked and the first week I wanted wasn't there, but the week after was in! Super excited!
