What was even more disturbing to me was when I pulled up this video you tube cheerfully suggested other videos titled "Fat People at Disney" and "More Fat People at Disney"

We got into a huge debate on the CB about whether or not society as a whole is hostile to fat people and that thin people are valued more. Seeing these videos make that point pretty well. Apparently there are those who think it's fun to film heavy people at WDW, add music and post it on the internet for others to laugh at them too.

I couldn't watch the whole thing....felt like I was giving him more attention then he deserved. I see the video was posted two years ago and comments have been disabled. Hopefully that means he was getting a lot of negative comments that helped him see the error of his ways!

We met a fellow like this during our last trip at WDW. I commented to his wife that I felt sorry for her. One brief encounter with her husband reminded me that there are worse things than being a single parent!

While I don't agree with the dudes video, and wonder why anyone might want to take the time to post such a video, I have to say its not new for the rest of the world to make fun of "obese" americans.

And Im sure we could all find videos shot by a single ignorant american making fun of some other cultures stereotype.

If his family found that entertaining, thats fine, and his right. Im not sure I would have posted it on youtube.
