Alrighty, lets get this party started......
Sat May 16th
Woke up around 6am, girls shortly after. Fisnished throwing the last minute things into the suitcases. Girls had a little snack and Grandma was here a little before 7am to pick us up.
Ride to the airport was uneventful. Brought our bags in, waved good bye to them and headed to CinnaBon for some food. Things were going swimmingly UNTIL we checked the moniters for our flight DELAYED by one hour. This was so not ok. Well, what da ya do, have a cinnamon roll I say. We had our treats then the girls found a little play place. They slid down the purple slide
We then checked the moniters again, MORE DELAY accckkkk, another half an hour. So we did what every delayed traveler does
Rode the moving walkways around!!! Girls found this pretty dang fun. Our plane was finally ready-turns out the pilot overslept-he announced it on the flight to Phx from San Diego-people were a little anoyed.
Plane ride was pretty uneventful. We sit 2 and 2-none of that mom sits between the kids while dad chills on the other side of the aisle stuff for us. I lucked out and sat with Avery for the first 2 hours then Cayley started throwing a "I am tired and cant get my self calm to go to sleep" fit and I had to switch and get her to sleep-which I did very quickly. And daddy and Avery hung out and looked cute
We landed in Orlando and were preparing to get off the plane when I hear the words that strike fear into all moms "I gotta go potty" Of course you do. Now when every Tom, Dick and scary Harry is trying to get off the plane. Does anyone move aside and let my girlie out to get off the plane to potty? That would be a NO. Look at her pathetic face
So, as we are going down the aisle, Cayley starts going.. Yep. Luckily it was more of a trail than a puddle-bet the cleaners loved me. I had a spare set of clothes so off to the bathroom we went for a rinse off and change.
