I took my girlfriend to the park and we sat there for a while, talking about what we wanted to do with our lives. She started talking about how she wanted to go to college and stuff and then have kids. I told her I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. She said it was sweet and I said I meant it. So then I asked her and she said yes!

It was amazing.

If she's talking about wanting to go to college I'm guessing high school age...
I'm just being realistic here. Being engaged in high school isn't the smartest thing. Only 2% of high school relationships end up lasting forever. So 2 in 100 will make it until death do they part.

Im almost 18, i'll be 18 in june. She's turning 17 in november. we wanna wait a few years before getting married because we ARE so young. we don't have to because the age of consent in Arkansas is 14, but we're doing it because her parents would die if we got married. i don't know if sh told them we're engaged yet...

Yup, you are so young you should wait a bit more than a couple of years.
I got engaged to my fiance in december, and im 20, and we have a tentative wedding date for june 2012. thats also the month i graduate from college, and hell be 25 yrs old and a nurse, so well see what happens.
