"I Want To Go Back!!!"....a Sept 2010 PTR(upd 10/12-TR Started!)

Wow, those scrapbooking pages are amazing!!!! It might, just maybe, get me motivated enough to start one of my own. I love it! What a fabulous keepsake!!!

Thank you so much! It really is a lot of fun and it's a great way to hold all of our memories.

I feel your pain!!! At least your son is only 1! I'm really far behind. But here's the trick. If you have space, set up a spot with all your supplies. Put them in bins, shelves, some sort of organizers. Then have some work space. I finally rearranged our office, sold the futon that was just collecting junk and set a table up with my scrapbooking stuff. If it's always out and ready, you can spend any half hour doing something. Of course, I'm a bit hypocritical, because I haven't done much since I set it up!! My weekend retreats with friends are where I get most of my work done. But my just turned 9 year old's book is at the point where she's started kindergarten. So really, don't feel bad, you're not very far behind at all!!!
Maybe that's what I'll do today after I do a little work from home (sick kid- not bad). Go sit in the office and scrap! Really if I spent as much time scrapping as I do DISing, I'd be caught up!!! LOL!!

That is such a good idea!! I actually have some things dedicated to it but those spots aren't organized AT ALL!! It's terrible! But all this talk of scrapbooking is getting me organized!! Thanks for the tips!! :goodvibes

I love the 12x12 scrapbooks. The pages are nice and you can fit lots of pics and stickers. Maybe I'll try to take a few pics today since I'm just lounging around. I can't believe you have a Cricut!!! That is awesome!!! I bought a few totes to put all my stuff in. One hold all my stickers, glue, scraps of paper, etc and then I have another one that's just for paper. I don't really have a designated area to keep everything though. We only have 3 bedrooms and the 3rd one is our office. With 2 computer desks, there really isn't any room for a craft table. So, for the time being, I just pull everything out onto my dining room table and work for awhile. Then, I have to pack everything back up and put it away. Not fun!

I didn't even realize how much I loved the 12x12 books until I started my Disney one!! They are great with all the room they have!! I am a little disheartened to start Landon's over, but I need to because it is so small. I will have to take pictures and show you though. I just took a 3-ring binder and hot-glued some padding on and then put some blue gingham fabric on that. (Is that what it's called?) Then I put his first and middle name on it and then some "It's a Boy" ribbon all pretty around. I'm so proud of it and it's hard to part with it! Maybe I will find some other use for it though.

That stinks that you don't really have room to keep your stuff out!! It makes it that much harder when you have to get it all the way out and then pack it all back up!!

I love your pages so much! They look REALLY good! They definitely don't look like someone who is new to scrapbooking! You did a GREAT job!!

Aw, Landon's book sounds so cute! My mom put batting and fabric around the one she made me. I love it! The fabric is blue and says "Class of 2000" on it. It won't be too hard for me to finish my June scrapbook. I don't need to haul everything out since I already have my pages planned out. All I will need it some scissors and glue. Not bad! I'm having so much fun putting these albums together. I don't want to be finished with them!

Your scrapbooking is AWESOME!!!!

Thank you so much!

I forgot to post this pic yesterday. My mom gave this to me a few weeks ago and I think she got it at Target.

Isn't it so cute?! I love it to pieces and it's on a shelf between 2 lovely Disney frames. Just wanted to share it with all of you!

That is the cutest plaque! I cannot believe you are making ADRs so soon! Have you made up your final list yet? :goodvibes

Isn't is so cute? I think I'm sticking with the ADR's I posted awhile ago. We're still on the fence with CRT so I don't know if I'm going to book it or not. Madison would like to eat in the Castle, but she won't be brokenhearted if we don't.

I've never actually booked ADR's at 180 days and honestly, I don't know if I like it. :scared1: For our Jan 09 trip, we didn't stay on property so we only had about 3 TS meals. I think I booked those in Sept 08 or later for that trip. Then, we didn't book our June 09 trip until April (around 60 days) and that's when the ADR window was only at 90 days. I couldn't get everything I wanted at first, but once they started the online ressies, I was able to snag Le Cellier and CM a few days before our trip. I kind of like being able to play around with dates and times. It's so hard to plan out where you're eating 6 months in advance. I'm going to stick with what I have written down for now, but there might be some tweaking as we get closer to our trip (if that's even possible).

Love the pages-- I think the Nemo page is my favorite! You can never go too sticker crazy! We have soo many of the same stickers, too. Disney needs to make some new ones!

You could use that book to keep 8X10 pictures in sleeves. I never knew what to do with the 8x10s we got every year and just kept piling them up in the frame behind the new ones! That could be his yearly picture book.

Thanks! I really love the Nemo page too. I'm hoping that Disney will come out with some new stickers too.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE all of you scrapbook pages, Meghan!! :thumbsup2 You did such a great job! Now I really want to get started on mine...maybe I'll do our Disney Album before I even start on the last 5 years. I don't even know which ones to say that I especially liked--all of them were so good! But I think that some of my favorites were the Nemo page, and your Bday page--oh, and even though the "goodbye" page is sad since it's the end of your trip, I love that it has a picture from each park!

Thanks Staci!!! I worked so hard and I'm so proud how everything has turned out. I like the goodbye page too, even though it's sad.

Hi everyone! As you know, I work at Old Navy and tomorrow starts our friends and family promo. It runs March 18-21 and you can get 30% off at ON, Gap, Banana Republic (online too) and at our online stores-Athleta and Piperlime. If you're interested in a coupon, I can email it to you. I only have about 15 left to email, so send me a PM if you're interested! You can use the coupon as many times as you want in the stores and once online. It's a great time to shop for Spring! Plus, we work with a few charities and they receive 5% of your purchase! I have once again chosen the Leukemia & Lymphona Society. So, go shopping for new things for you and your loved ones and support a wonderful organization.

I just got my email and signed up for the Leukemia and Lymphona Society too! I'll be doing some shopping this weekend!

Awesome!!! I will probably head over to my store sometime today or tomorrow. None of us really NEED anything, but with 30% off, you really can't resist! I should actually go through Madison's clothes from last summer and see what she has outgrown.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I switched from a room only ressie to a package today. I thought it would make it easier when FD comes out (fingers crossed!). I had THE best CM ever on the phone today. She was so sweet and I could have stayed on the phone with her all day. I wish I would have remembered her name. She definately got my day off to a wonderful start.

I just got a huge sigh of relief a moment ago. On a Sept code watch thread, I asked when they think FD will be released and that I hoped it wouldn't be the same day as my ADR day (the 26th). I felt so much better when someone posted that the current promo can be booked until March 27th, so it won't be until after that date. WHEW!!!!!! I had totally forgotten about the current room rate and gift card option being offered right now. The 27th is a Saturday and I don't see Disney offering FD on a Sunday. So maybe Monday the 29th or Tuesday the 30th??? Is there ever a certain day of the week that Disney likes to release promos?

Hey Meghan - I think that's a great idea to change now. It is one less step to do later. I looked at Mousesavers historical data and free dining opened up about March 30 last year, and I believe it is typically shortly after the previous offer closes for booking. Lucky you that you didn't go a week later! You can book whatever you want and then go get your free dining!!

I got yet another pin code today. This was for free QSDP if staying at value or mods. You can also stay deluxe and upgrade to DDP. They obviously don't check their records to indicate that I already booked a package!!! I am pretty sure that our 40% off deal at deluxe is a better deal and we are upgrading to DXDP anyway. They're going to get plenty of our $$!

I've been playing around with online ressies and right now, I can get whatever restaurant I want at whatever time I want! I can only look up until Sept 14th, but I've been checking every other day or so. I plugged in all the favs...CRT, CM, 'Ohana, Le Cellier....everything is wide open. I'm so excited to be able to book before FD is released. Was March 30th the Disney Visa day to book or general public? I know the Visa is usually a day or so before, so I'm just trying to get a good idea.

yay for a great CM! They really can make all the difference. The current promotion booking date ends March 27th, so the following Monday the 29th should be when they announce the next promotional offer. They have set themselves up well for it because the current promotional dates go through August 14th. Free dining historically runs from August 15th through September 30th. :goodvibes There are signs there so all we need to do is hope Disney is going to release as they have done in the past!! :thumbsup2

Hi Meghan!!!!
I finally got all caught up! I can't believe we're scheduled to go the same time! I hope we can make it work and I can meet you guys!!!!:yay:
Great PTR so far, love your scrapbook, I bought one for my last trip and still is sitting in the box, I have good intentions!!:headache: It's overwhelming when you look at all the pics! LOL!! I hope to stay up to date from now on.....:goodvibes
