"I Want To Go Back!!!"....a Sept 2010 PTR(upd 10/12-TR Started!)

Happy Anniversary!!!!!! Cheesecake factory.....YUM!!!!!!

Love the shopping spree pics! The pineapple bathing suit for Madison is perfect for a trip to Disney! :thumbsup2

Congrats on making plans for baby #2! I'm sure that it won't be quite the same as when you were dancing with the team, your Bandettes family will stay in touch and you'll still be a part of it.

Meghan and Tony - congrats on 8 years!!! Sounds like you had a nice dinner!

I love how Madison lost her tooth! The last one Paige lost had been loose for a while and she lets them just HANG there for days - drives me crazy! So one night she got up at about 2:30 and had it in her hand! I don't know what she did! Then she insisted we put it under her pillow that night! So the poor tooth fairy had to stay up very late. My girls receive a gold dollar coin for each tooth now - the first one gets more and a small gift because it is special.
I'm sure Madison looks super cute!! Missing teeth make a cute smile! Paige's first grade picture is typical - no front top teeth! I love that.

Happy anniversary! Congratulations on 8 years together! I've never heard of Bravo but Cheesecake Factory, yum! I've been craving that lately, I have to get in there one of these days!!

I used to constantly play with my loose teeth when I was a kid. My dad just used to tell me to yank them out but I tried to make them fall out on their own. I don't miss that!! :rotfl:

Happy Anniversary! Sounds like you had some good food to celebrate. Yummy!

How exciting that Madison lost a tooth! Ah, the days of 25 cents, good times. My brother actually got 25 cents a week for allowance all the way through high school...and one time a teacher was trying to make a point about how kids get so much for allowance and he called on my brother...boy was he surprised!

Can't wait to hear about your crazy summer schedule. Want to know my schedule? Umm...play with the kids...bake...enjoy some sunshine...do some chores...and go to the zoo and marine land because apparently when you buy a one day ticket to marine land you can get a season pass for $5 more, and free parking! But yeah...I am very under-scheduled, so I can't wait to hear about all you have to do!

Oh, I am with you...underscheduled here too!!! boys will continue their guitar lesson one afternoon per week....swimming...movies...library....swimming.....hot dogs..chocolate chip cookies...swimming...do I need to cook? I don't think so...dh is in trouble!!!! I guess I could manage supper every now and then!! LOL

Happy anniversary! That is so excited!! I love the pic of you 2 on your fb!! So precious!! I'm so happy for you!

And that's awesome that Madison lost a tooth!! I can't imagine how uncomfortable it is!! My little guy is going through his first round of teething!! I love the little tooth grins with a few missing, but sometimes miss the gummy ones! It goes so fast!!

Congratulations and happy anniversary! And congrats to Madison on losing her tooth.

I'm anxious to hear about your summer. I know my summer plans are very busy. Actually, I'm already super busy with a to-do list a mile long and getting a little overwhelmed.

Happy anniversary!!! And yay for Madison losing a tooth. :)

Thanks!

The cheesecake was SO good! I adore that pineapple bathing suit. I was at ON today and noticed that we had pineapple flip flops for girls!!! But, they didn't have her size left.

The Bandettes will always be my 2nd family. We've been through so much together and they are awesome! I'm really excited to add onto our family.

Thank you! 8 years has gone by SO quickly! The older I get the more quickly time flies.

Madison lets her teeth hang around too. I'm usually the one who has to yank (or should I say barely touch) them out. Tony can't even stand the sight of loose teeth (neither can I), so it's my job to deal with them. I love the idea of a gold dollar coin. How unique! When Madison lost her tooth at the Jacksonville airport last year, the tooth fairy gave her 2 dollars!

Thank you! Bravo is exceptional! It's quite a few steps up from the Olive Garden. I'm not a huge fan of the food at Cheesecake Factory, but I love their cheesecake.

I was always told to yank my teeth out when I was little too. But, I used to let them hang there for awhile and fall out on their own. Or, my mom would just want to "check on it" and then she'd give it a little pull and out it would come. I now use that same tactic on Madison!

Happy Anniversary! Sounds like you had some good food to celebrate. Yummy!

Thank you. We had a great time at lunch yesterday.

Madison always cries her eyes out when she loses a tooth (because it bleeds) but she's so happy to have it out of her mouth too. We used to give Madison an allowance (she had a cute little chore chart), but we haven't in quite some time. Maybe I'll go buy a new chart for her this week. We don't make her do a lot. She'll supposed to make her bed and open her blinds each morning, brush her teeth, set the table, clean up her toys/books each day and practice her Irish dancing.

I think some people might pass out when they hear how much I have going on each weekend! During the week, I'll be just fine. It's just the weekends that are going to make me lose my mind!

Oh, I am with you...underscheduled here too!!! boys will continue their guitar lesson one afternoon per week....swimming...movies...library....swimming.....hot dogs..chocolate chip cookies...swimming...do I need to cook? Hahaha....I sometimes wish I had nothing to do. However, I'm extremely bored when I have nothing going on. I guess I'm one of those people that likes to have a lot on my schedule!!

Thank you! I love my FB picture right now. We're so happy!!!

I love toothless grins on little ones. It doesn't get much cuter. However, I loved Madison's smile when she just had a few teeth too.

Congratulations and happy anniversary! And congrats to Madison on losing her tooth.

Thank you so much! My summer is going to FLY by!!!

Happy Anniversary!! Wow, 8 years is wonderful!

8 years is definately wonderful. Most people can't believe it when I tell them how long I've been married. Then again, I'm only 27!!!

Just putting it out there.....I do have a FB account and I'm actually friends with a few of you already. If you have a FB and want to be my friend :goodvibes please feel free to PM with your info!!!!

I have Kimmy on my fb, if you're friends with her on there, I'll find you through her!

PS- Bummer about the Sabres! I was rooting for them!

Awww congratulations on eight wonderful years! It's so great that you two have such a wonderful relationship :lovestruc
I'm FB friends with Becky, and I think I saw you on her "Friends" list over on the side of her profile. I'll add you!!
I was NOT a fan of the loose tooth stage myself and neither DBF nor I are looking forward to it with our children. He works with the mentally disabled and is totally fine with vomit/bathroom fluids, but blood REALLY gets to him. I'm not personally a fan with any of the above, so I totally understand Madison's tears!!
The summer is a CRAZY time for us, too-- I hope you at least have fun weekends!!

I'm back and ready to share my summer plans with all of you. Like I mentioned in some of my replies, my weekdays aren't going to be too bad, but my weekends are crammed! During the summer, Madison will have dance one night a week, swimming lessons once a week and she'll be playing soccer twice a week. That's it for her. I will be teaching dance on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings until early June. Here's what else I have going on:

Sunday, May 2nd- My cousin K's bridal shower in Syracuse
Sunday, May 9th- Mother's Day! Don't have any real plans yet, but we'll be going to my parents house to celebrate
Mon, May 10th & Tues, May 11th- Dance pictures
Saturday, May 15th- appearance for the Bandettes
Saturday, May 22nd- Madison's class feis (like their dance recital); I'm working the front door collecting money in the morning
Sat, May 29th-My cousin E's bridal shower in Syracuse
Sun, May 30th-My students will be performing at Fantasy Island (it's a rinky dink amusement park around here)
Mon, May 31st- Memorial Day party at my parents house

Wed, June 2nd-Dress rehersal for the dance recital
Fri, June 4th-Dance recital #1
Sat, June 5th-Buffalo Feis...Madison dances in the morning and then I'm volunteering for the rest of the day
Sun, June 6th-Dance recital #2
Sat, June 12th-cousin K's bachelorette...wine tour through the Finger Lakes
Sat, June 19th-cousin K's wedding in Syracuse (staying overnight)
Tues, June 22nd-Madison's last day of school!!!! Hooray!!!
Thurs, June 24th-the most important day EVER....MY BIRTHDAY!!

I actually have nothing planned (yet) for the weekend of June 26th (maybe a birthday dinner and movie). Besides the 4th of July, I have no plans the first few weekends in July (whew!)

Sat, July 10th- Rochester Feis
Vacation Bible School will probably be held the week of July 12th-16th. I always help with games (so I can be outside and run around with the kids).
Tues, July 20th- Madison will be in a local parade
Thurs, July 22nd-Driving to Annapolis, Maryland for cousin E's rehersal dinner (Maddie is the flower girl)
Fri, July 23rd-cousin E's wedding
Sat, July 24th-driving back home
Sun, July 25h-Tony's birthday!
Weekend of the 31st-NOTHING (probably celebrate Tony's birthday)

First weekend in August-NOTHING!
Sat, Aug 14th-Feis at the Falls....it's a feis that our dance school runs up in Niagara Falls. Again, Madison will dance in the morning and I will help in the afternoon.
Sat, Aug 28th- I would like to take Madison to a feis in Oakville, ON but I need to get a passport/enhanced license first. I should probably start looking into that. There are a few more Canadian feises this fall that I would like to go to as well.

I think that's about it. As you can see, I have a lot to keep me busy. We also have weddings to go to on Sept 3rd and Oct 22nd. There will probably be a bachelorette party for my friend who is getting married in October. I will most likely go to it, but it all depends on where it is and what's going on. I'm all for dressing up and going out to a nice dinner or something like that. I don't like wild and crazy parties. Oh yeah. I also have my 10 year reunion this year. It's going to be held the Saturday after Thanskgiving!!! I will definately need to just sit back and relax on the weekends when I have nothing scheduled. Next summer is going to be just as busy. I already have 3 weddings to go to and hopefully the arrival of a new baby. I'm tired just typing all this out!!!! I hope I survive!!!

PS- Bummer about the Sabres! I was rooting for them!

I am friends with Kimmy on FB!!! I'm totally bummed about the Sabres. Thanks for rooting them on! I really think they need to make some changes this summer to make the team better.

Thank you! You can definately find me through Becky's FB page.

Tony can't stand blood either, but he did deal with it quite well once. I wasn't home (thank goodness) and Madison was running through the living room. She tripped over something and hit the area between her upper lip and nose on a dining room chair. Tony said her nose instantly started bleeding. I would have been freaking out!!! He handled it very well. She didn't hit her nose and no teeth went through her lip. I still would have been in a panic!

I'm really looking forward to my summer. In some ways, I want it to go by quickly (so my Disney trip comes sooner). But, I love having Madison home with me and a fast summer means that school comes sooner for her.

Wow, I didn't realize you had the dates and everything...that is very planned out! I'm glad you thrive on it though. I'm the opposite, I love not having a plan and just doing what we'd like when we'd like to. I'm very much a "stay at home" stay at home mom! You should get a passport card...you can cross on land to Canada and Mexico and fly domestically with it. I'm pretty sure it's cheaper than an enhanced license and it lasts longer...and I think Madison would need one anyway or a real passport since she doesn't have a license.

I'll PM you with my facebook info, I'd love to be facebook friends! You can see actual pictures of the faceless children then!

Oh yes...I have everything written down on not one, but two calendars!!! (I really love calendars) I have plenty of days when I have nothing to do and I love it (If I don't have anything planned, I'm usually in my pajamas until 1pm). There are many days when I have no desire to even leave my house!

I don't know if Madison needs anything but her birth certificate to cross the border. But, I might be mistaken. I need to read up on the whole border crossing thing again. I'm leaning towards a regular passport or the passport card.

Yea!! I love FB friends!!!

I forgot you shared a birthday with Tony!!!!

yep...we're awesome!!!:rotfl: The only bad thing about it is that it's sooo humid and miserable here by the time it rolls around I don't really want to do anything....Mike gets off easy for that! No trips or anything like that for my bday! The year we graduated, my family went to WDW the week of my bday *Note...this is usually the hottest week in the south* ...the lines were unbelievable and the heat almost killed us! We came home the night before my bday...so I spent the end of 17 at Disney!! That was great...but I will never do that again! For some reason they didn't plan our trips at all...just pack and leave...perhaps this has led to my planning obsession!!

Don't tell me the last week in July is the hottest!!!!! I'm trying to think positive so I don't melt. Now I'm positive I will melt!
