I want to get SIL a gas gc for taking my dd with them

on vacation. They'll be driving from Dover, OH, to Lake Michigan, and the back to OH, and then to NJ. Does anyone know of what gas stations are along those routes? Thanks.

My guess is that along the way you'll probably come across just about all of the major ones (BP, Exxon, Shell, Conoco, etc). But your best bet may just be to get a pre-paid Visa or Amex gift card that way they can stop at whatever station is most convenient.

maybe holiday???? and when you buy holiday cards here in minnesota you get free money I know it is either a dollar or 2 dollars for every 50. I get them all the time. Hey free money is free money.

I live in Ohio used to live in MI. I use Speedway/superamerica mostly.
BP, and speedway are top 2 I've noticed. Shell is around but seems never when u need one.

I live close in the next county over(lol) from Dover. I believe they have a Speedway , Bp, and a Marathon.

If they are taking the PA turnpike to NJ then there are Sunoco stations at all the rest stops

FYI - You cannot use Visa and Amex gift cards at gas stations (it states it on the back of the card)

Thanks, everyone! Off to CVS to pick up a card! I got them a $100 American Express card, and I figure another $100 for gas. She'll be with them for 2 solid weeks (we're flying her out, they're driving her back), and I figure they'll eat out sometimes (they're going camping and then staying in a cabin), and I'll also send her with some spending $. You were all very helpful!

I would just give her one when she gets back to the one closest to her house. There are just way too many chains out there and the chances of her finding the right one on the gift card is too iffy.
