I want to get a pedicure, but...

I spent the better part of the afternoon giving myself a pedicure! I painted them in Sally Hanson's Chrome Nail Make Up in the Ruby Chrome color. They look way cool!

My nail tech told me to be very careful about Pedicures! You can get nail fungus if the tubs are not properly cleaned! She says to ask the the person doing it to open the filter in the foot tub so you can check for yourself if it is clean! For this reason alone I do my own at home!

Oh my just got back from my first pedicure and I think I am hooked! It was wonderful and soooooooooooooo relaxing. Cannot wait to go back...I think I am going to treat myself every month to at least one!!!SO glad I finally got the courage to go!

I go every 3 weeks for my pedicures. I found a salon I like, and an aesthetician who makes my feet look incredible. It is well worth it, especially during sandal season!

I've never had a pedi either in my life...and I'm 27...but I really really want to get one.

But my feet are really ugly. (TMI here) I don't have a normal "nail" on my left pink toe...it's just like one be clump of nail. it's so gross...it's been like that forever...for that reason alone, I'm scare to go...

also - I guess I should "avoid" those nail places in the mall for pedicures? Are they really clean enough?

Stinkerbelle, try asking for recommendations from friends and believe me I have THE UGLIEST feet in the world. My best friend used to say I had Flintstone toes...all kinda curled and all. Plus I have psoriasis so I have marks all over my feet that look nasty...lol. Try it its wonderful!!!!!

Do I have to take off my toe ring during a pedicure?

I haven't taken my toe ring off since 1999 when I put it on...my toe has basically deformed to the toe-ring. I'm scared to see what it looks like! heheh

(although - with this heat, my toes look like little sausages right now!)
