DisCon was such great time last year, I can't wait to do it all again this December!
I posted this after DisCon last year, but the wonderful time I had is worth repeating (here, and at DisCon 2!!)

Don't miss out, register today!!
WARNING, LONG!!
I almost didn't go. I came so close to cancelling, for many different reasons. I'm so glad I didn't. I would have missed out on one of the most enjoyable times of my life, with some of the friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure to have met.
Amid Chaos, Vanessa, I was so thrilled to finally meet you. Thank you for your gift of instant camaraderie, the lovely ornaments you gave me, and the promise to try and spend more time together next year. I hope we can do it.
Towncrier, I so enjoyed your entertaining stories, and won't forget your many thoughtful gestures. From discount passes to DATW buttons, all are much appreciated.
nytiggr, a new Diser, and fun and gallant friend, thank you.
JamesD, his lovely wife, and Figgy (Susan), serious pin collectors! I had the pleasure of their company
during dinner in France and not surprisingly we talked a bit about pins. I have a very meager pin collection with nothing a serious collector would be interested in. When I told them that I had long coveted a Zorro pin they quickly told me they would find me one. The next day at MVMCP, I met James and he presented me with a Zorro pin, no trade necessary! Thank you James, I am still smiling about the new masked man in my life!! LOL
It was a pleasure for me to finally meet Dan Murphy, Teri, SSB, Barb for Real, Marla, Nurse Kim and her delightful sister, Jaypd and his family, The Lion King, NancyIL, Patrick, Glo, KarenNY, Smee.
My GF Tea buds, Tia, Livia, Disneycub, Tammy, Dayna (of the beautiful chapeau), what fun! Next time I'll fit my tiara in my suitcase somehow!
FairyGF, we did indeed have our "moments." They're still making me smile.
Special thanks to PatinMn for his wonderfully helpful and much referred to intinerary.
Sandra B, Judy from Boise and her DD. Your wonderful singing at Kimonos was a real treat.
Nativetxn, although you were determined to "mess me up" (LOL), you feel like a sister to me. Thanks to you and George, ChrisC, Penny from the UK board, Alex, and nytiggr for an extra fun romp through the MK during MVMCP.
Ray Sharpton, you have a good heart and a warm smile. Thank you for my American flag pin.
Taryn, what a sweetheart! Unbeknownst to either one of us until part way through DisCon, we were
booked on the same flight back home to Toronto. When I arrived at the airport, Taryn had already
had our prearranged seating changed so we could sit together. She also managed to find us a spot
where we could indulge in just a wee bit of pre-flight liquid courage. LOL Thank you for your thoughtfulness and charming company Taryn.
I met Pete Werner!! Wow! To him, Marsha, and Linda a BIG thank you for all your hard work in making this wonderful time possible.
Last but not least, Alex. I don't want to ruin your reputation by saying how nice you REALLY are, so I won't! (wink)
My apologies to those I've inadvertantly left out. You are ALL a part of my excellent adventure, and I'm grateful to you for making it so. Your instant acceptance and readily extended friendship is something I will always treasure.
BTW - How about that weather?? Glorious!
