I want to be under 200 pounds...Anyone else??

AWESOME!

I have about 10 pounds to go (199)! I hope to check back in and say that I have done it!

I mentioned to DH about you reaching your goal and he sends you congrats! He is so supportive of my goals and trials. I know I will get there! If I could lose the first 40+ pounds, then I can do the rest!

Now that you are out of the under 200, will we have to keep in touch with you thru another link? Do you journal on the dis? I also chat on the link I want to be under 150. Hope to meet you there!

Wendy

I'll be checking in here periodically. I need to keep below 200!

Hello everyone!

I have been meaning to join this thread ever since I first came across this thread last week.

As the story in my siggie says, I lost 109 pounds (down to 174.5 pounds) but gained back about 35 pounds. I want to get back down to my old weight and take off another 10 for a total of 45 pounds. I'm already down 4 pounds since coming back to WISH on March 5 so I'm on my way! My weight right now stands at 206 as of Sunday (it's actually 204.6 as of this morning but I only count Sunday weight). I need to lose 7 pounds to see that magic "1" on the scale again. Boy do I miss it.

I hope you all don't mind if I hang out for some support. I look forward to getting to know you all!

Okay, I am joining too. I am now at 215. Have been 230 and 170. Winter is over as far as I am concerned ( in more than one area of my life) I have walked 30 min. 2 days in a row!! Amazing to me. Today I was aware of all the things I am putting in my mouth. Going to cut the carbs a bit and up the water and keep on moving!! My first goal is to break 200. Then I will go from there!! Happy Spring!!!

Hi decaff! We can do this! You are right, spring is here and it's time to stop with the excuses and get this done! My first goal is to get to 199 and then 189 which will be 10% lost from where I started at 210. My next goal is to get to 171 which is the next 10% and then to finally see the 160's on the scale! Great job by the way on the exercise. Working out is definitely the key. I've started going back to the gym twice per day again and I'm even making my third trip to the gym today (corporate gym in my building) for a step class! Woohoo!!!

Okay...after much lurking I've decided to come out and join y'all on this thread. As of Monday morning's weigh-in I'm sitting at 218.5, which is down from my January 22nd starting weight of 230.5. :scared:

In 2005 I joined weight watchers and lost 30 pounds without much effort at all, but I fell off the wagon when I was at 203. :sad2: This time around it's taking LOTS of work. I'm exercising 5 days a week and losing an average of 1-2 pounds per week. I used to be able to drop 3 pounds a week by just exercising. I'm switching things up some this week in the hopes that I'll start seeing 2 pound losses on the scale each Monday. Methinks I must be getting old and losing my oomph! :lmao:

Anyway, "slow and steady wins the race" has become my motto. My first goal is to get down to 200, at which point I'm rewarding myself with a new purse. :cool1: DH keeps threatening a trip to the beach in August, and I'm bound and determined to look decent in a swimsuit by then. :scared1: My long-term goal is to be at my goal weight of 156 by the time we head to Disney in mid-October.

Welcome to the under 200 thread luvmy2sams!!! I can totally relate to losing weight and then gaining some of it back. We can do this! I like your idea of rewarding yourself when you get to 199. I have to think of something totally inexpensive - we just bought a house - but fun for myself to celebrate. Thanks for the idea!

Have room on the boat for one more?

I too am working to be below 200. I have been doing WW (again) since the end of January. I have lost 13.6 lbs so far and am currently at 206.4 lbs. I think the last time I was below 200 was about 3 years ago. Got there by doing WW but didn't stick with it. I am learning this go-round that the changes I am making have to be a new way of life for me. I am not naturally thin...Never have been...Never will be. Such is life.

Hello all!

Lots of new 'faces' here, and so much the better! We can help each other with encouragement and successes! I have been wanting to lose the same 8-10 pounds since September. I need to lose it this year. Hoping to go to WDW in Dec (several if's on that one), and I haven't been there under 200 pounds since the first year I was married. I have tons of energy when I go now, and I can only imagine the increased amount when I am lighter.

Enough rambling.

Good luck to all!

Great losses.

Wendy

Just wanted to report in that today is the second day I saw 204.4 on the scale. I worked out at the gym three times yesterday and I'm a bit surprised that the scale stayed the same two days in a row. It's just about TOM for me so that could be working against me. I can just feel the bloating. Sorry if it's too much information (ha!). I do hope to see 199 by the middle of April. My eating is not always the best but I'm working on portion sizes and not depriving myself so we'll see how it goes.

I hope you all have a Terrific Thursday! I'm going to try to check in everyday to see how everyone is doing. We can do this "onderland" is just around the corner!!! :)

Great Lisa!

I am crossing my fingers for my WI on Monday. I am hoping for at least .5 of a loss. I would LOVE more.

Off and running!

Best to all.

Wendy

Mind if I join this group? I would love to see under 200 again. It's been a while. I'm currently at 225 and I want to be under 200 before my September DW trip. I've just started watching what I'm eating and adding veggies and salads to my meals. Oh!! And I dragged my eliptical out of storage. I'm glad you are all here to help. Together we can do this!!

Another newbie here! My goal is to be under 200 by the time I go to WDW in November. I have about 30 to go. I work out 4-5x a week cardio and 2x a week weights. I struggle with my desire to eat junk versus my desire to be healthy. I have never had good eating habits, so I am trying to break habits I have had basically since birth. I'll take every little victory I can get so I am very happy that I have been working out consistently since September 2006. I can't rembember the last time that has happened.

Welcome to the new faces on our thread!

I wanted to report in today that the scale is not cooperating. I'm actually up 1 pound. This weighing everyday can get frustrating if you let it but I do like to know what I stand weight wise each day. The last time I stopped keeping tabs on my weight, 30+pounds crept up on me! :) Anyway, it's TOM for me and can just feel the bloat. Yuck! I'm sure by this time next week I'll see that pound gone and maybe another one with it. I am determined to get below 200 by mid-April. I know I can do it!

Have a great Friday and wonderful weekend everyone! Let's try to make good food choices, okay? DH and I are going out with friends for dinner tonight. It's fried shrimp night at one of our favorite restaurants. My modification is I'll have my baked potato plain (I bring my own 0 calorie butter spray) and order sour cream on the side and only use a little. I will also order a small side salad instead of their yummy creamy cole slaw. I'm on the fence about dessert. I might order a coffee as we linger over dinner and bring a Fiber One chocolate bar instead. I know I'll respect myself in the morning if I skip the carmel cheesecake or death by chocolate. I think I'll keep telling myself that I know what that stuff tastes like and if I really want it, maybe I'll split something with DH. :)

I thought I'd check in here. I've been watching everyone and thinking most if not all of you are close to the under 200 goal and I've got a million miles to go. Ok, for real, when I started watching this thread, I was at 320, but I do want to get under 200, 199 would be like getting to the moon, but you guys know all about that. Back then I was thinking I don't belong here, but now I know I do, I'll just be around a lot longer than most. I'm now under that 300 mark and 10 pounds toward the under 200. It's been two and a half months and I keep keeping on with it. This week has been a particularly great week, after a stall for three weeks of playing with two pounds this week I lost a total of 7.8 pounds.

I am down another 2.4 lbs for a total of 16 gone. 5.4 lbs away from 199!

DH and I leave Sunday for five days at WDW to celebrate our anniversary. We were just there earlier this month. I gained 3+ lbs in the three days we were there. It took me over a week to lose it.

I am going prepared this time...I am taking our bathroom scales (to help keep me honest) and my exercise clothes, I-Pod, dvds, & videos (in case I don't want to walk the boardwalk or go to the gym at BWV).

We come home on Thursday and I WI again on Friday.

Wonderful tanya! You will make it.

I 'see' some new faces here. So great to have more support for each other. It also looks like lots of us are losing with a trip in the future. I know I want to be under 200 by my next birthday, Sept, so that in December if we are able to go on our trip, I will be under 200 at WDW. It will be the only the third time out of nearly 20 I have gone. The first time was while in college and the second time was on my first vacation with my DH to FLA. Never been under that weight since I have been going with my children. I am so excited!

Well, great choices to all and looking forward to seeing lots of Weight losses on our thread next week!

Good luck to all

Wendy

Just had to pop in, again. My goal was to be under 200 (199 counted) by May 16th (both my 35th birthday and a planed trip to Disneyland) well as of today April 1st I am only 2.2 pounds from that goal. Unfortunetly the trip has been cancelled. Too bad that same can't be said about the birthday ;)

have a long way to go but also have a goal. I want to be in onederland by my 39th birthday on 9/11/07. I have 59.6 pounds to go to 199.9
I know it will be hard but I know I can do it. I have lost 28.5 lbs since christmas. I walk on the tread mill everyday at least 30 minutes 1.5 miles right now. bwant to increase to 2 miles.

Hello everyone! Add me to the 199 club... I'm currently weighing in at 217.4. Starting back on Atkins(no flames please) tomorrow. I had great success without exercise on this plan. I joined a kick-boxing club about 4 months ago and am adament with that routine at least 4 days a week. Now it's time to start watching what I eat. I'm hoping all of you will help keep me accountable!
