As much as I love my job, being a manager can have it drawbacks. Since my staff is mostly male, I have always preached that they keep away from office romances. Well there's always one in the crowd that doesn't listen and his romance has gone sour. Now the girl has contacted HR claiming harrassment and I'm up to my eyeballs in mediation and paperwork. I've been dealing with this for 3 weeks now and I'm so drained it seems like our recent trip to WDW was lightyears away. Right now I wish I was nothing but a worker bee.

Sorry you've got the extra work. Just what you need...extra work, right? Speaking from the peon level in my former jobs, I'd rather be there. In my last position we would frequently say there's no way we would ever take our Director's job! Especially when JCAHO was wandering the halls...it was great to be a peon then! :teeth: I hope things work out okay.

You can look at the bright side...As a manager, Im sure you dont have the paycheck of a peon. ;) Thats what I always tell DH when he comes home in a bad mood because of his guys.

Seriously, good luck and I hope things get straightened out real soon for you(and for that guy).
