I want....* TINY rant*

to GO somewhere...

I've never BEEN anywhere.. other than to buffalo which is an hour away..
Ive never been on a real vacation.

Ive never used my luggage downstairs for any long trips. Never left my house for more than 3 days.

I feel like I'm missing something.

My mom said we'd go to New York for my birthday, but, it will probably fall through, and thats not very far anyway..

I wish to go to Egypt..Switzerland..Spain..France .....or Disney..
It kind of hurts me to be on a Disney board and to never have gone. I feel slightly left out. And the Disney commercials are always so...pretty and wonderful and fun looking.. I have a disney scrapbook that i made for when i go.. its been there for around 5 years. I also have a planning guide, I love it, and it will always be waiting for me but..

I want to go on a PLANE.
I want to ..fly.. somewhere, see clouds, and the world from above.


Sorry, Im good now.. And i know I sound selfish.

That doesn't sound selfish.
I've never been to new york or maine or anywhere around there.
Never been to California and anywhere in the west either.
Only been North and South (southeast).

Most of the time I only go a couple hours away and don't stay from home too long besides going to disney.

I've always wanted to go to a different country.
Luckily I think we get to go to New York in a couple summers for art club and go to museums and go shopping. I really hope we do because I've always wanted to go there.

When we went I was soooo excited to use my luggage, and fly!

That's why I want to have a career where I travel places, even if it's just in my state, god darnit I wanna travel somewhere!

I went to disney for the first time (that i could possibly remember) this past year. It was ALL BECAUSE of the disboards, At first I joined because of VMK once in love with VMK AND the disboards i realized that disney must be amazing, that all of it isnt just a scam. I was (for the most part) right.


I almost still feel left out when people talk about epcot and disney world and everything around there

and most of your parents actually LOVE disney. My parents hate it with a burning hot passion (i think its the weather)

Within my travels i have always learned its not where you are but who your with. I once took what could have been an amazing trip that ended up being so boring because all we did was sit around all day talking about what we were going to do tomorrow (every single day)


Why not go to a summer camp? As crazy as this sounds sometimes those are really fun (depending on what they are)

He went on an airplane for the first time when we went to New York, just the 8th grade class... and some chaperones. Before the flight, he was like "Can you open up the windows??"

Your not being selfish. I have never left the east cost. I've been to Disney twice, Virginia once, Pennsylvainia a small handful of times, and have been to Mass. once, and to R.I. twice for a summer camp. And of course i have been to lake george in ny and upstate ny never buffalo.

I am going to washington d.c. for the first time this april.

i luuuurrrvvveee southern accents!
Coming from the south-east of Wales i don't think i actually have an accent at all so at least you could make out the words i was saying even if you didn't get the phrases xD.

Oh and i want to go to Scotland and Nothern Ireland because there is no point in living in the UK if you're not going to go to all 4 countries. And of course when i start uni i'll probably go to one in england and find work up there or maybe scotland perhaps ireland, ideally i'd like to move to america. I'm not staying in Wales, if i had to though i'd probably move up north because it's really prettyful(if a bit boring i mean it's sheep and slate city) or west that was nice though a bit ropey in places. Of course thei welshier areas and may require me to speak welsh. like no thanks.

What did you think of VA? What part was it?

Heehee Washington D.C. is da bomb, when you go go to the air and space museum, it has the original "Spirit of st. Louis" in there

and other AWESOME museums

and ride the metro at least once (if you can) because i STILL find those amusing and I have been living here my whole life!

I feel so guilty about that! I live in England, I've been to Wales once and I'm going again this year, but I really want to go to Northern and Republic of Ireland, and Scotland like badly. I want to do the Cutural Represantative Programme when I'm older, and I really should visit all of the UK before I represent the UK at EPCOT

And in a couple of years I'll be facing a choice. A trip to Europe with all my friends (I'd be paying with my own money) or a trip to Disney for three weeks with my family?
