I want a great timeshare deal, HELP!!!

I have booked a timeshare package with starwood, I am supposed to get 4 nights at the sheraton safari and 2 free disney tickets. I was supposed to receive a confirmation in the mail which I never received, so I called and was told I will not get one until closer to my trip(aug 2002). After paying the $199. I am now told they can not guarantee this hotel. When they call you everything is wonderful until they get your money. I am so upset, I have a few more days to cancel, I want to find another package. I am switching to disney property when value season starts so I just need 4 nights elsewhere. Thanks!!

I just got a call yesterday from the Hilton Grand Vacation Club. It was for the same kind of deal.... 3 nights/4 days for $198. It also included 2 tickets to Universal, I think. I just couldn't do it right now. You might want to look into that. I've heard the HGVC is very nice.

I've stayed at HGVC on one of their package deals, and it was great. You can book it through their website at HGVC.com.

Be careful, though, the small print on the website says the following.

Your Orlando vacation includes 3 night accommodations at either our beautiful Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Sea World International Center resort or at one of several premier area hotels centrally located to all of the Orlando magic.

My niece just got back from a timeshare presentation where she was told she would be staying at the resort but when she got there they booked her into a Ramada Inn!

we did stay here a couple of years ago(my friends counsin owns a timeshare and couldn't use it that year). It was very nice.
I do remember seeing a link with all different timeshare deals. Does anyone remember it?
