I wanna go to a Dismeet!!!

Dadgummit!!! There was one scheduled in Denver in March or April 2002, but it was canceled. There was another just talked about for July, but it's almost August, so I'm assuming that's not happening. I read all your fun posts on Dismeets, and I want to go! I want to meet some of you. I will get to meet Beauty and Jaypd at WDW in September for an Illuminations cruise, so that is exciting, but I want to have an "outside of WDW" dismeet. Please, can ten or twenty of you fly to Denver, meet at Dave and Busters, come to my house for a bbque or something? Couldja, please, pretty please, with sugar on top? No? Well, it was worth asking anyway . Okay, I'm finished with my pity party, thanks for listening.

I would LOVE to come to Colorado for a DISmeet. But I think that my DW Sue would pitch a fit if I decided to drive or fly there this soon after two other out-of-state DISmeets.

I feel your pain. If I could go to every DISmeet, I would. You have the right idea, though. Setup something on your own. I'm sure that someone in your vicinity would show up.

And if you happen to be near the eastern suburbs on Cleveland this Sunday afternoon/evening, we're going to try to have a little get together here.

TC thanks, but I've never been to Cleveland, and don't see any reason for going anytime soon. Although, a dismeet does sound like a great reason. But Stephen would probably have a problem with me flying to OH to meet a bunch of people I don't know, but I like the idea.

I feel the same way as you! I really want to go to a DIS meet and I haven't been to one yet. Everytime there's one near me, I can't go because I have something else to do that day! It's actually kind of funny. I'm sure I'll be able to go to one sooner or later though.

Two Disers I have become friends with (IMO!!) You guys need to Fly into Palm beach and we can have a mini meet at the airport before you rent cars to Drive to Disney!!

Set one up, Kelli. Post a call for one, try to get a little feedback and work around it. Even if only one other person showed up (I am sure there are more) you have a meet. Meets do take a bit of setting up and promoting to get a turnout, but I know there are a number DIS folks out your way. Post a call for one in the Denver area. Good luck.

Vickylan: I'd love to fly to Newark, but not this weekend .

tnkrbell: I so wish I could meet you when I come down. When will you be there? But, we aren't renting a car, we're using a towncar service, sorry.

Binny: Stephen decided to go out and pick up Sarah, so I am not coming . I tried to talk him into meeting all of you, but he just wouldn't be talked into it. Maybe some other time I'll come there just for a meet. It's only about 10 hours from here.

OK... Tink, you rent the bus. Map out a route to CO. Everyone can meet on the route and be picked up for a big carpool. I'll meet you at the Turnpike in Orlando.
