I am such a baby!

I wanna go "home". Now, don't get me wrong, dh and I just returned from a short trip to Vero Beach last week. But it feels like so long ago!

We are going to BWV in December, but that feels so far away.

Does anyone else ever feel this way??? Or am I just silly?

I mean, thanks to DVC, we are able to go more than most people. Still, I think having points makes you want to go more. Besides the travel costs, why not???
That is why I keep trying to get my dh to move closer to Florida!
The Michigan-Florida drive takes its toll!

Not silly at all! I feel exactly the same.

I was just there in Feb but I'm not going back until Sept. I sit here every day thinking that I want to get back sooner!! I want to be there right now!!

Hey Kamgen. I agree. After we return from WDW, we always have the post-Disney blues until things gear up for our next trip. At least we have these boards right? Plus you are right--being DVC gives us the chance to go a lot more than most people. Focus on December! It will be here before you know it!!

It does help to know we are already in the midst of planning the next trip, but still! It seems so far away.
I mean, we just bought more points at VWL and we haven't gone there yet....need to go now! Ha!

Seriously though, I am working on getting my dh to do a short trip in September. Maybe not Disney, but a little getaway. I just need to getaway from home sometimes.
He is leaning towards it, but since the December trip is going to be bigger than normal, we will have to wait and see.

Yes, I am greedy. But it is Disney!

I constantly have Florida and WDW on my mind. DH thinks I am nuts. We were there the 1st week of March and it seems like an eternity ago. I have a hankering to go to Key West right now. Alone..no husband or kids. Just to recharge my batteries!! Glad to see I am not the the only one that has Florida on the brain!!

I have major Florida on the brain!!! Dh thinks I am crazy and think of nothing else but vacation! (I do, but don't tell him)

Seriously, we don't have kids yet, so this is a great time for us to travel before we start the family making!
We have only been married a year and bought DVC on our honeymoon. He really loves to go, but he is such a hardworking, straight laced guy!
I'd call in sick to go to WDW!

We won't be making our first trip home until January.....its really hard! After this all our trips will be less than a year apart. My husband, being the one working and all, is having an especially rough time. I'm taking the kids to the shore in a few weeks and he has to stay home. I even came close to booking us a WDW trip for his birthday in July...but that wouldn't be the smartest thing to do moneywise right now even with $118 rt flights.

I've been trying to think of a little getaway that he might enjoy....a camping trip or something.....or perhaps we'll have a trip to NC soon for some job interviews....he really needs to get away!

I know what you mean. My dh needs these trips more than I do. He just got a job promotion (more responsibilities) and started back at school.

We are looking forward to our December trip, it will be needed by then.
We are now only able to book our trips around his school schedule, so we are now looking into what to do next year!

hi: yes, i know exactly how you feel. just got back from a week at bwv 5/1-5/7 and have to wait 6 months until our 11/6 trip back home.

My dh told me last night that he wants another vacation too, but he doesn't care if it is Disney!

Don't worry, your vacation will come! I remember when we booked our trip last July it seemed like an eternity--now as of today we are 5 weeks out! We watch the DVC, vacation planner, and even the cruise line video all the time (even though our cruise is tentative 2004!) Before I know it I'll be home, teaching next fall and counting the days until our NEXT trip!
