Told my hubby I could wait till dd was 40 inches tall so she could ride more of the bigger rides, but now I want to go back already (it'll probably be 2 years before she hits that 40 inch mark!).... I know he won't go for it... so I have to figure out a way to get a trip for free, then he can't say "no" right?? I know you guys all understand the plight of the disney-addict... had to vent...

My other problem is that I am spoiled and want to stay at the GCH next time too, so that doesn't really help on the budget concious... we did DLH last time, and now I want to be even closer to the gates! :)

Thanks for letting me pout...

Awww!!! See, you just need a monster baby like me, my 2yo dd is 40 inches!!! It was great to be able to take her on some of those rides.. She LOVES those dang Jellyfish..:sad2: :lmao: Trust me, I hear you on the GCH. We stayed there in October, and LOVED it!!!:cloud9:

We took our first trip to DL in September '06, and had such a great time! On the way home, DH's father picked us up at the airport. He asked DH when we would go back, and DH said probably not until our youngest (2yo at the time) was the age of our oldest (6yo at the time.)

I was out of sorts the week after, and when DH asked what I wanted for my upcoming birthday, I said, "Do you really want to know?!"

He said, "Umm...yes."

And I said, "I want to go to Disneyland! I can't wait FOUR YEARS to go again!" (Heck, it took 44 years to get there the first time!) :rotfl:

He said, "Ohhhh. OK... Well, when would you like to go again?" and I said within a year.

We took our 2nd trip in early October, WOOHOO!!! And are tentatively planning a trip for sometime in spring '08... :woohoo:

*Pout* my princess is a whopping 36 inches at 3.5! And she was barely 36 inches too when we went on our trip... I told dh I want to go back already and he looked at me like I was nuts... and I never even told him how much the 1st trip cost!!! So I guess I just have to rack up more airmiles, and then maybe score a deal... if it was really any cheaper I'd just take dd myself, but rooms are based on double-occupancy so there is really no break to do that...

hmmm...

:hourglass

Ask around among your friends or relatives! Maybe another mom/kid duo would be up for a trip, and you could share a room! Maybe Grandma would like to go? :)

And if that doesn't work out, there's a ladies only trip being planned for late April... :rotfl:
