I wanna camp!

We are going as part of a group - and have to stay at All Star Sports. My dh wants to pay EXTRA to camp - on top of the room fee. Does this sound good to anyone else. LOL. we love our camper.

Why do you have to stay somewhere else? Can you not just camp and meet up with your people? Your people may just want to meet you at your camper and they, themselves, will become die hard campers. It has been known to happen, just ask my best friend!

My kids are going to dance, and the fee to go includes the room. And they won't let us put it toward the campground instead. But if I suddenly have extra money (which could happen) we may splurge. The deal is $380 each for 4 nights, four days hopper passes, backstage tour, t-shirt etc. It would be close to $400 to stay at the campground, which is a MIGHTY splurge when we've already bought the room. sigh.

Do you as parents have to be part of the package?? Consider dropping yourselfs out of the package and get your own tickets and accomodations. Just have your kids be part of the package It might work out that way.

Seriously, though, if you can swing the extra, I don't blame you for wanting to camp! We stayed at ASMo on our last trip, because it was part of a longer general stay in Florida and we did not have our stuff with us, but this fall we are going to The Fort! Can't wait Can't wait Can't wait!
