I visted Pixie Hollow today!!! (PICS)

Great pictures! Were they all signing autographs? Do you know if Pixie Hollow is only open certain times like Ariel's Grotto was? Thanks for all your help!

Did tinkerbell talk?

Does she talk in Peter Pan?

Personally, I've never been into tinkerbell (or fairies, in general.) I don't understand the appeal.

The area looks really cute though.

Oops nevermind, I re-read all the posts and you said where it was..lol. It's too early here ...so no more Ariel then? Or have the relocated her meeting spot?

Sadly, :sad1: Ariel will not have her own meet and greet area again until the new Little Mermaid ride is open in DCA in 2011. In the meantime, human form Ariel will still be at the Princess meals at Ariel's Grotto and sometimes at Princess Fantasy Faire.

Thanks for sharing the photos and the sheer joy of your experience with us! I will be at DLR next weekend, but highly doubt that we will take the time to visit this area, as DS doesn't even know who Tinkerbelle is. Our mission of the weekend is to meet Quincy and June from the Little Einsteins at the MTOTP. For my DS that is his equivalent to your DD's meeting Tink. So, here's to some faith, hope and pixie dust that everyone's Disney wishes can come true the way yours did yesterday!!!

Yes they all did sign autographs! It was open all day except for a short time for the parade. There were times when the fairies took a break. Also they would switch out the two fairies I saw with tinks other fairy friends Faun and Silvermist!

Since this was just the soft opening I can not say for certain but I can say that it looks like it is going to be very popular so I would guess that it is going open all day like the PFF.

She does talk! She is very much like she is in the new Tinkerbelle movie.

DD and I saw them (although we did not take a picture with them) right outside of playhouse disney. There was a meet and greet there for them and Handy Manny. DD felt bad when we walked by because no one was going to see Handy Manny so she went and took a picture with him. LOL!! The little Einsteins seemed to be more popular. There was a line but it was not long at all! You should have no problem. I would go over there first just to make sure. THere are a lot of trick & treating spots in that area if you have to wait!! HAve fun!

What fun fotos! Thanks for sharing! We'll plan to meet Tink & Friends in Dec. ~ perhaps Great Gramma will wait in line for us???

Thanks for sharing! The pictures are soo cute! I read above that they switch out the fairies...does this include tinkerbell as well? Is she always in Pixie Hollow besides her breaks?

It is my understanding that Tink is always there but that the two fairy friends are switched out with the two others. The way the line works is there is one spot to meet the two friends together and the go down the path to another area to meet Tink by herself.

 Wow, that is nuts to wait two hours. Well, to me anyway. LOL Obviously for some it was worth it.

The pics are very cute and your DD is just adorable!! Love her costume. :thumbsup2

Okay, I have to say it and I'll probably get yelled at, but.......ummm, I'm not crazy about that Tink. She's not bad, just not what I expected. I'm not even sure what I was expecting but something just seems off to me. The other two fairies are very cute though.
Maybe I'm just having a hard time with the whole Tink thing. I don't know. I don't deal well with change. LOL

Anyway, thanks for sharing!

For anyone who went to the movie at the El Capitan--doesn't that look like the same Tink who came out and danced prior to the movie?

Great pics! I showed my DD and she told me to make sure I went there and got my picture with Tink when I go for my solo trip in a couple weeks!:tinker:

Thanks for the pics. I checked it out today, but the line was over a hour long so I didn't go in. I just saw it from the outside. It looks adorable. I can't wait till the lines are shorter.

Cute cute cute!!!! I love Tink. I thought she was adorable. I also love how you get to meet 2 other fairies in addition to Tink. Not sure I'll do this in January but I'm going to TRY!!!!

Its soooo CUTE!!! Thanks for sharing. I cant WAIT to check this out.

Its amazing. when you see the picture with your daughter and the 2 fairies, with the grass and flowers behind them, the picture really does make them look fairy sized.

It is the character greeting area for Tinkebell and her fairy friends from the new Tinkerbell movie that comes out on Tuesday. The area has replaced the former Ariel meet and greet. It officially opens on Tuesday but lucky for this weekend's guests, Disney opened it early yesterday!

The idea is that as you walk along the path you are being shrunk down to fairy size (in order to keep alive the fantasy that Tink and her friends are tiny little creatures).

Ohh... okay, I didn't recognize the 'fairy friends' in the photos... I guess it will be very popular when the movie is out.

Love the pics & thank you for sharing. :) The whole Pixie Hollow looks great. My little cousins are going to go ape when they see it.

well we saw the movie today and it is CUTE! it was kind of cool to see a movie in the opera house. . . then afterword the senior designer talked about the pixie hollow area so we got to see some art from it. . and i'm glad you posed the pics of the bronze statues. . it was crowded today!! trying to leave took three trams before we got to leave. . grrr. . . the offiicial opening for the walk through is the 28th.
