It's been a couple of years and I just want to make sure nothing major has changed.

Is it still 180 days out for all restaurants?

Is it still if you make a resort reservation and include dining that you can then make your dining reservations without paying for them?

The ones that have to be deposited with a CC, do you have to give a CC or does the resort reservation hold it for you?

Are the restaurants for Fantasmic priority seating still MMelrose, and my mind is blank - we usually do that one anyway.

Hmmm, I know I'll have more questions but that's it for now.

Thanks Disney friends!!

1. Yes.

2. You do not have to pay for restaurant reservations, with the exception of Cinderella's Royal Table and the three dinner shows; you must pay for those as soon as you book them. You must pay for those reservations whether you are staying onsite or not. If you have a dining plan already attached to your resort reservation, you can put down a credit card hold instead of full prepayment, but you must already have the dining plan on the resort reservation.

3. You must give a CC. The restaurant reservation system may be able to confirm that you are staying at a WDW resort and whether you have a dining plan, but at this time it cannot access any other information about your resort reservation.

4. Mama Melrose, Hollywood and Vine, and the Brown Derby are the only restaurants participating in Fantasmic packages.

Nala - maybe you or anyone else could answer this - when you make a reservation and add the dining plan, and then you are blessed to have the free dining opportunity come out, do you then just call to see if they can make it 'free' or do you have to cancel all the adr's and start from scratch?

No you can just call them to add it.

I knew we were planning a trip for Nov so I booked all my ADRs before I even booked the trip. When I finally booked I just linked my resort reservation with my dining plans on the website

Yep. When I originally made reservations for my upcoming trip, I booked a different resort then made ADRs at 180 days. When FD came out I switched resorts but my ADRs stayed the same.

You can call them and see if they can add it. It might come about that the resort or room category you booked is not available on the promotion, if that happens you will have to change resorts or room categories to get the free dining. They will do that for you.

Changing your resort reservation does not affect your ADRs at all.
