I Turned A Friend End Today Did I Do The Right Thing?

Thanks everyone for the support...
First thing did yesterday after letting my friend drop her stuff off in her class was went to that teacher and told what she said that night to me...
She told me I could change seats and that I did the right thing and just to remember that...
Then I went outside with some friends and that person wanted to talk to me...
She was begging me to apoligise to her, and I was in a awkward situation so I did that...
She then gave me a hug and told me not to switch seats...
Only thing was 10 seconds after she did that she went up to another person and told her how much she hated me...
I was like so much for just doing that...
So the counsellor wanted to speak to her during English today so our English teacher sent her down there which I later found out it was so our English teacher could privately talk to me with out drawing attention to that fact to the other person...
She explained to me what she thinks is wrong with this other person...
She believes that she is at spot in her life where she is confused at what she wants to do, what her feelings are and is just mad
She told me that I shouldn't have apoligised to her even though it would of just caused even more drama
And just told me that if I need to talk to anyone about it I can talk to her since no one else really understands...
Thanks fo the support, Everyone around me is just being a jerk to me about it except for that teacher, and one of my friends from the dance studio who recently went through something like this...

Haha, I just have to say that it took me a few seconds to realize what you were saying! I thought we (the DIS) were wrong.

But yeah, don't let your classmates harrass you about it. If they have questions or want to talk about it, that is what the teacher is for.

i cant imagine how hard this must be for you. dont let anyone make you feel bad. you did the right thing. i know having your friend hate you is hard, but consider the alternatives. wouldnt they be harder?
you were really brave to tell the teacher. and like other people have said, we're here for you.

I think partially I've just been very emotional the past week and this just making me more mad
I have so many other things going on in my life right now and this I was the last thing I needed...
