I totally saved money by choosing the Autotrain!

I'm totally psyched. We decided to try to Autotrain for many reasons this trip, but money wasn't one of them. I kind of assumed it might be more expensive to take the train, but I thought the fun factor and the advantage of having our own vechicle in florida (without having to drive it the whole way there) outweighed the fact that it might cost a little more. Well, today I went on to Allegiant's site, just to check what the airfare would be if I bought it today. Turns out, as a family (3 adults, 1 child), we are saving over$300 by taking the train! And, that doesn't evem take into account the fact that we would have probably also rented a car if we had flown! Sweet! Just thought I'd share my tidbit of transportation savings!

That's fabulous! We're flying this time..but next time I am hoping to stay offsite and see something other than Disney (Maybe Universal, do some shopping e.t.c) so I am throwing around the idea of the Autotrain and having our own car as well. I hope you have a great trip!
