I did it! For those of you that followed my last thread (found a contract -what should i do) that last push & the good strong drink did the trick . Thanks! Just submitted an offer for 100 pts. at AKV. We'll see what happens. If it's meant to be then I guess we'll get it. Must admit I'm excited, but feel a little sick . So much $, but when I think of all the fun & great memories we'll create I feel better. I'll let you know how it works out. Guess I should move over to the waiting for ROFR thread now .

You know what, I put it in perspective. Most of us wouldn't think twice going on out dropping this kind of money on a car that we'll keep, at most, 10 years. This will give you vacations for the next 35 - 60, depending on where you buy!!!!

Thanks everyone for all your good wishes. Just a quick update. Our initial offer was refused . The sellers did make a counter offer which we're mulling over. It's a bit more than we wanted to spend. So, we're at an impass right now. I'll let you know how it works out.
