Was at Target over the weekend, and had checked out and I was proceeding to the doors. When I noticed an man on my right talking to someone in photo, and on his cell phone. Remember he is on my right, and my basket is infront of me. There is a man with a cart in front of me and we are both proceeding to where you leave the carts inside. Next thing I know the guy on his phone darts infront of me to the point where I shoud have stopped , not to hit him....not this time. I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden I firmly said, "don't get infront of we without expecting me to run right into you". The guy on the phone darts out of the way...like he knows he was wrong(he did not get hit BTW). The man infront of me with the cart turned around to see who I was talking to...and I said sweetly to him "not you,...him..." And he smiled back at me. ;)We both chuckled. Some times you just have to be a little crazy

Just reminds me of that scene in Fried Green Tomatoes..."face it girls, I may be older, but my insurance is lower ;) "

I was pushing DD#1 in a car cart at Hannaford (a grocery store) the other day. I had never pushed one of these MONSTERS before (carts, not DD...) and was having a tough time steering.
DD was sitting up front and steering both wheels (it's a cart made for up to 2 kids) and laughing.

A woman walks by and says, "watch out!! crazy driver!!" I replied, "I'm so sorry, I have never driven one of these things before! They're huge!"
She said, " I was referring to the little girl."

I had resumed trying to push the cart at that time, (which is the same thing as walking a VERY large dog...you have NO control) so I laughed and yelled, "sorry" over my shoulder.

Not one of my finer moments.... :rotfl:

We're down by Valatie/Kinderhook.

Thanks. I didn't think I was the brightest bulb when it came to almost obvious things ;)

i went to the So You Think You Can Dance tour over the weekend. it was a lot of fun, but i felt like i was at a boy band concert(which i've been to plenty, so i know how they are!) there was SO MANY little girls there!

and i had some sitting infront of me and behind me. and even tho once in a while i'd hear "i love you Travis!"(mind you we're WAY up in the balcony) i didn't mind them.

not until i got to the line for the bathroom did i flip out. these 2 girls behind me apparently knew this other girl a few feet infront of me. and so one of the girls behind me decides to try and push me, honestly, out of the way to talk to the girl infront. it wasn't until i stepped on her foot did she go back to where she was. preceded by tons of dirty looks to me. i didn't care tho. she got what she deserved! lol

I am SO with you! I kind of went off on someone in the store yesterday...it was bad enough that some woman was taking her dear sweet time going into the next aisle - she's just sauntering along, in the middle of the aisle, stopping every 2 steps, coffee in hand, chattering away to her DH with the kid and cart behind her, who is blocking everyone else's way...Well, just as they start to move, this other woman looks directly at me and steps in front of me. I said, "Well, I guess you didn't see me here trying to get by!" and as soon as I had room, I went right around her. I hate the grocery store.
