I thought you had to walk around with Treasure Detector Magic

I thought you had to walk around with Treasure Detector Magic but i guess not; so does this mean they are preloaded with a prize? And sometimes you just get one without a prize?


This is what the Yeti says to do in the newsletter:

After clicking the MAGIC WAND icon, your MAGIC window will appear:

Double click on the Treasure Detector Magic. This is what it looks like when you use Treasure Detector Magic:

It's magic!

After a few moments the map will disappear. If nothing else happens, that means you didn't win anything. However, if you DO win something, a pop-up window will appear letting you know what you won:

Hey! Treasure Detector Magic really works!

Well just FYI I just tried it with three characters and got nothing on all three, I think I will give up on that theory

You do have to walk around, if you don't, you definitely won't get anything.

This helps my theory that the Yeti is the one who holds all the prizes for Treasure Detector Magic. By giving info that will keep people from getting prizes, he keeps his stuff. That or someone hired him to say that...

I know you are supposed to walk around to get anything, but DD and I tried the detector on five characters walking around in places where it was posted that everyone was getting something and still never got anything.
