I thought Tokyo Dining was harder to get into than Teppan Edo?

Had to cancel our Teppan Edo ADR as managed to ressies for CRT but can't get another day that works for us but Tokyo Dining was way open!! Does anyone know how DDP works for sushi? I'll still be trying for Teppan Edo though...
