because I put out my fall decorations this past weekend.

Until I came home from work today and noticed my neighbor has a Happy Halloween wreath up and a flying ghost windsock...

I think some folks around here are just itchin' for fall to come around. Has anyone else actually put up autumn decor yet?

Nothing here yet. I usually wait until October. It's still too hot here for the fall...although I did buy a big bag of Halloween candy to bring to work.

I hung my autumn door wreath today. It's a purely psychological ploy that I use to convince myself that the cooler, sweater weather is already here, when in actuality it's still like 90-some degrees.

I'm always anxious for fall--my favorite season.

I have to wait since I use my scarecrow, corn stalks, a bale of hay, pumpkins (carved closer to Hall'n, leaves, etc for my decor and it would go bad in the heat LOL. Not to mention I am just not sure how long pumpkins last...

As much as I love the fall (it's my favorite time of year) I can't decorate yet. We will wait until the official first day, and then break out Nightmare Before Christmas, which we will watch practically everyday through New Year's when we will sadly retire it until next fall. It makes it so much more exciting to have to wait. Almost here!! !

I put my fall decorations out as well. My fall wreaths, my cinnamon brooms, and a few other things.

I have had a pumpkin spice frappucino, a reeses peanutbutter cup pumpkin, and am lighting a pumpkin candle. I love fall, but here it was 112 today The halloween village will go up in a couple of weeks. We just bought the Mickey, Goofy, and Donald piece that goes with it, yesterday!

I can't wait to go home to No. Dakota so I can feel some real fall, although I love my village so much it is hard to leave it for 10 days.
