I thought beach club/boardwalk 1 bdrm villa slept 5?

Planning a vacation now and on the dvcmember.com website it states BCV 1BR sleeps 5. Can't find anything online though confirming. I took a screen shot of where it says it but cant figure out how to paste it here.

On the resort page it says it sleeps 4. What DVC members can do though is book up to 5 in the room but the 5th person needs to bring bed, bedding and towels. The old booking page used to outline that very well. It doesn't seem like that same warning has made it over to the updated booking engine or at least it's not as obvious as it used to be. That's not real good but there's a lot that is rather sloppy about the new booking search engine and web pages.

BCV 1BR still has a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa for sleeping surfaces for 4.

If you book a BCV one bedroom villa via DVC, you are permitted a fifth person in the one bedroom, but nothing is provided for that person. No bed, no sheets, no towels. You have to provide everything for the fifth person.

If you book at BCV one bedroom villa via Disney Reservation Center, you are not permitted a fifth person in the one bedroom unless the fifth person is under the age of three.

You can sleep 5 there, but there are only sleeping spaces for 4. A bed in the bedroom and a pullout couch in the livingroom. The 5th sleeping space is for you to provide, but it is allowed. In other places that can only sleep 4, you are limited due to fire code.

Will a full size blow up mattress fit in that closet. My grandson would love to sleep in a closet!!!

All 1BR bookings allow for 5 guests except CCV and AKV value Jambo. Only HHI, VB, OKW, AKV others, BLT and VGF (on east coast) have beds for 5. The others you have to bring airbed or some such...and sheets and towels. Also, BLT and AKV Kidani 1BR have two bathrooms. We are fam of 5 who initially bought DVC for the 1BR villas and we'd bring an aerobed for DS when we stayed in rooms without bed for 5th person.

I don't remember any of the closets being that big except the closet in the VWL (BRV) second bedroom of a dedicated two bedroom villa and the closet of the second bedroom of a dedicated two bedroom villa at OKW.

AKV-Value and CCV are hard numbers. The 1BR's are limited to 4, even for DVC bookings.
